I love that Huell is slimmer in this series, it shows that as you get older (in Breaking Bad he is older) you tend to lose your fitness. Even though its the other way around hahahha.

This song takes on a whole new meaning, considering what happens after they tell one another “I love you,” for the first time. It’s crazy how good the portrayal of their relationship was without ever having to rely on words or explicit affirmation of their feelings. It was all show and no tell.

This montage makes me so sad. The way it depicts them seemingly drifting slowly apart is so powerful. The fact that Kim doesn't appear in Breaking Bad definitely doesn't bode well for her. However, I strongly believe she is alive given that Saul is so vibrant and upbeat in Breaking Bad. He may be an asshole but I don't think he'd be able to go on if Kim had to die.

My guess is that Kim somehow ends up in prison n Saul regularly visits her. One day he goes and tells her a crazy story about getting kidnapped and threatened by a top-level meth cook. Kim sees the opportunity for them to make some serious money and live the high life together after she gets out of prison, so she convinces Jimmy to track the guy down and form a partnership with him. Obviously that eventually blows up in Saul's face, and he has to flee to Omaha. Somewhere during the Gene timeline Kim gets out of prison and they reunite... They're both tired, traumatized, and no longer living the high life, but they still have each other and finally realize that's the only thing that truly matters. With a big, genuine smile on both their faces, the Gene timeline turns to color. Roll credits.. That's my theory n I'm sticking to it 🤞

Kim is imo, the best female character on tv. She is the best and most realistic example of a strong woman. She didn't have to act over the top and be the tough chick that can kick mens asses. She is smart, caring, loyal, pretty, tough, movie buff, works hard, she cares about helping people by doing pro bono, Jimmy is a lucky guy.

Kim is a fascinating character. Her decision to "break bad" is probably the most interesting of any character on either show. It's surprising and shocks the viewer but it doesn't feel forced... Excellent writing and acting for her character 👏👏👏

while this show lacks a lot of action, which is fine, it excels in its relationships between characters, i think that’s why it’s so enjoyable to watch. in some ways better call saul is better than breaking bad and vice versa. i love this scene

In terms of tone or action, you can't really compare the two shows but overall I think BCS is presented better and has better characters. As much as I love them, there isn't a Ted or Marie in BCS. Side characters like Chase only really appear for a short amount of time.

I remember when Jimmy initially had his license suspended, alot of us were curious what on earth the show would do with that time. This is such a brilliant way to almost seamlessly pass 8 months of time and character development.

I just don't see that happening. I have had so many discussions with people about this and I always champion for that ending too but I think it's going to be a tragic ending for Gene. The only thing I am sure of is Kim definitely does not die before the Breaking Bad time line because Jimmy would not be able to live with himself. I just see no way that happens.

Pretty sure Kim turns on Jimmy and that’s gonna be the “something unforgivable” that she mentioned. Maybe they will see eachother but I don’t think it’s going to be a happy reunion if it does happen. Kim can’t die. Nacho living can’t be the one happy moment that closes the show.

Coming back here after the series ended. It all hits so much harder, knowing where each character ends up. I'm crying a little right now. Thank you BCS. You've taken me on am emotional roller coaster. From the heart wrenching scenes between Chuck and his bro to the cons of slipping jimmy to Lalo's rivalry with gus. The ending felt bittersweet, but I finally feel, whole. Walt had an ending he deserved, Jesse got the ending everyone wanted for him, but Jimmy's one made me feel whole, especially knowing that after this there would be no more. The last shot of kim and him sharing a cigarette, then him doing the finger guns..... i just don't know what to say, it made me feel whole.

they said they love each other for the first time (atleast on screen) and they broke up 💔 a tragic love story, Jimmy Intentionally taking all the blame is all worth it because he knows Kim will live a happy life, A True Love indeed

@@currentlytripping4542 just imagine this... for the intro in Episode 13 of BCS we have this montage I said, we see Mike, Saul, Gus and Kim during BB, sum up. My ideal song for this is “Goodbye Stranger”. And then it all starts to fade in black and white when things go wrong for everyone. Gus dies, the lab gets destroyed, Mike dies, and finally Jimmy escapes turning into Gene for a ‘Felina’ kind of finale, how cool would that be?

How ironic that the best days of these married lawyers are the times when they scam people. We all know they would break up at the end, but hoping they would meet again soon under different identities. I never knew Vince is also great in writing a love story. Their relationship separates this series ahead from breaking bad, in my opinion. It's unique on its own.

I almost love how you can see this as a present and future for both Kim and Jimmy. Jimmy going day by day conning and aiding the criminal underworld with Huel and Kim doing her day by days. But as time moves slowly, the more they drift apart.
