Pathologic OST - Haruspex is All Alone (Extended) 

The Haruspex, a butcher, a killer, one could even say a murderous psychopath, gets the warmest character arc. It’s about love.

People may joke about the wubbing synth noise, but judging by its frequency and pitch it really resembles a crying or sobbing to me. If this track is for when the Haruspex is all alone...not being chased by his fellow townsfolk...not desperately bargaining for bandages and shmowder in the streets...not being sent on fools errands by Oyun...it's truly the only time Artemy has to cry during those chaotic 12 days.

You know Pathologic's dealing with some messed up stuff when (arguably) the most likable and compassionate character is the child murderer

I think to me pathological will always, to me at least, be about artemy. Loathed by those he works to save, he treats there hostility as insignificant details to be brushed aside. A man that is accomplished and capable but knows his lines are flawed. Fuck I'm gonna play it again

A town full of men that has tried to kill you, falsely accused you of killing the one man you returned for and yet Artemy does his best to save it. In contrast to the Bachelor who had been treated as a guest with more rights than most and benefits most of the town had no right to, and he does his best to bomb it to the ground. Pathologic was quite the trip. Nothing nonsensical either, every path made sense as to why they took them.

Thank you for extending this track! I must wonder what the developers intended on using this track for and why they cut it, as its a shame Ice Pick Lodge cut this track, it encapsulates the Haruspex's character perfectly.

I'm kind of sad this song was not in the final product of the game. It's my favourite, and I think it really suits the Haruspex.

I dedicate this track to all the healthcare workers who have been treated like shit this past few years... As i scavenge for food and water in the city, going here and there for somewhat pointless quests, trying to keep myself from getting infected from any of the multiple diseases around, or robbed or stabbed or scammed. I'm not a healer though, im part of the disease, and i understand why the townsfolk hate me, why my friends don't really want to hang out with me anymore because we have gotten so far apart we don't even recognize each other as a friend. It still hurts though, and with my last bits of data left i hear this track and leave this message because... I was here, i existed, and i tried. Hope you have better luck and better choices than I. Put this track on while walking around the town and talking to survivors during "Destroy polyhedron" ending in Pathologic 2. Shit hits hard.

Very bizarre how many of the best songs on this soundtrack weren't used in the game itself

Wow, this is nothing like the rest of the soundtrack. Sounds more like something you'd hear in an old Final Fantasy game.

Pathos- a quality that evokes pity or sadness. PLUS Logic- the science that investigates the principles governing correct or reliable inference. =Pathologic!i thought it would be about a pathological liar but.....
