Thank you for your review. If any student sees this i would recommend seeing what services your school offers. My current school offers unlimited free same day 30 minute appointments. My prior offered 4-5 free sessions per semester
@@thatweirdgirlinthecorner3073 hey i don’t want to release that information for privacy reasons but several schools in Maryland where i live offer free tutoring for students
@@kindofrandom834 just signed up ..they didnt really ask me for any personal info(they said it was all optional). just age and name(i gave my nick name,) email ..and i guess my credit card.
Yah they do sell your info and it is in there privacy policy, you can read it there but for now I am going to quote this from there policy : "We aren’t paid by anyone for any data. If you opt in to our use of targeting cookies and web beacons, this use may be considered a “sale” of personal information under that specific California law. I just want someone to talk to. People have no idea how lucky they are when they have a friend who listens or is interested. I don't want to have to pay for it. I just talk to myself but it would be nice to have someone confirm or challenge my thoughts. Thanks for convincing me not to go down this root.
Not only this but i feel horrible telling my friends and boyfriend my problems all the time, i have people in my life that i talk to about life every now and then that i am super comfortable with, who i know have my back and i have theirs. However i feel that i'm trauma dumping, and don't want to ever in future get too used to dumping the stress and situations happening. I don't mind mentioning it and seeing if they have advice, but i feel like a burden and don't want to have to rely on them as professionals who can actually give me some guidance or reassurance on my mental health. I feel this betterhelp thing can be a great way to just talk to someone other than someone you know, to get an outsiders perspective.
A lot of ppl say they’re late or a no-show for a lot of ppl it’s super triggering. Imagine if you have abandonment issues with low esteem and feel like no one cares or wants to be around you. If you’re parents were always late or a no show with great excuses and all now you’re talking about how to manage sadness when others let you down on accident. Issa lot
You have the most soothing voice, Silvia! Great video- I’ve never tried therapy before but it looks like a great option if you need a helping hand on this journey we’re all on! Thank you xx
Terrible service. I paid 280 for the month. After first session therapist ghosted me. I called him, sent note online and texted.... nothing. Better help also doesn't give refunds, don't support face to face on android, doesn't post negative reviews.
I want to do this online therapy with better help but its like $60 Usd which for me is P697.67 in Botswana .As a student the goverment only pays us 1,5 per month plus I live off campus ...
Right in the commercial alone you can see this is a scam. Even the Brand doesnt know basic regulations of mental help. The actor in the commercial claims she is "paired with a therapist from Montana and they have a lot in common." A good therapiat wouldn't talk about herself enough for you to know that in a few short sessions. Don't fall for obvious scams people!
I want to do this but the 30 minute sessions are a huge red flag to me. Your med doctor is meant for 30 minutes; life catch up, general side effect discussions, refil info. mental health tho!? Unacceptable! I would never settle for less than an hour especially paying $320 a month. Insane!
My therapist there does 45 min. and I pay way less than that. Also she's great and even writes me in-between the sessions. So it does make up for the kind of high price.
Thanks for your video. My first session is later today! I’m nervous and excited! I needed to find someone who is still active with BH- I needed this. I’m only worried about the short timeframe of the sessions because it is so much that I have to unpack.
I was super nervous as well for the first session. I find the time frame to be more than enough on some days and not enough on others l. Really courageous of you to start therapy! Hope it went well😊
I’m a procrastinator that’s always late so scheduling is a big problem for be so managing the app would cure most my problems on its own. The practice and habit of that alone
I thought about doing BetterHelp but the therapist are rude. People always forget that anyone they speak with could be a potential customer. I use to work for a company where these therapists and counselors used to call in to get professional liability and general liability to do this business. I spoke to so many of them that were rude, impatient and downright ignorant. I’ll tell everyone now my experience from how these people really are because there is no way I want to have therapy with any of them.
Ahhh i see you here too. Interesting seems you go to all the Better Help review videos to talk about ho you know so much about the therapist. i have feeling you were a BH client and you were rude and they kicked you off the platform.
@@louisedery1049 Nope! I do insurance and speak with these individuals that want to be on the Better Help platform on a weekly basis. They are rude. I can't believe they pose as people to help others going through mental health situations. You seem a bit triggered, are you one of them? I have never posted a comment on any other video about Better Help. My comment was to warn others because I get to speak with these mental health counselors or therapists about insurance. They call my company with an attitude because Better Help is making them get insurance. They get pissy on the phone because they can't answer 7 simple questions so I can quote them a price. They love to yell and use profanity or insults because they revert to toddlers not getting what they want. They don't present themselves as nice people. We as a society need to warn others about services and products they might not want to spend money on. I have never been a client and after speaking with these unprofessional individuals, I will never be a client.
I have a question. Do better help therapists read your journal entries? Cause I’ve been on better help for a bit and I write really long journal entries and always click the button that allows my therapist to see it. Do they actually read it if it’s long?
GUYS!!! PLEASE DO NOT SIGN UP TO BETTER HELP! I don't know if you guys know but Better Help has been caught SELLING USER'S DATA TO SOCIAL MEDIA PLATFORMS! Also the "professional" therapists either are late/don't come to the meeting at all, only talked about themselves, gave bad/insensitive advice, or are trying to promote you something.
I'm so sorry you and it seems like many others have had a bad experience, all the people that I know personally have luckily hat great experiences with better help, it seems like the quality of the service really depends on the individual therapist
I talk on the phone. you can call text or video. Its less about venting but more expressing your problems and finding a way that it doesn't happen again so you don't waste your precious life...
Thank you very much for sharing this information, especially the cost. I have thought about trying BetterHelp but it looks like I need to save up for it some more.
i was hoping to find this answer in the questions but i didn't so ill ask do they perscribe you your medications, cause I'm on Xanax and prozac so I can't just trade therapists if they don't write my medications
@@ariarain5242 Ok i apologize for my word choice with therapists but i don't see my psychiatrist much since the pandemic i just see a kind of physcians assistant they have been writing my meds i think you answerd my question meaning they don't write them but i have heart failure and anxienty i need my xanax and prozac
there's 3 plans after you subscribe for 240. I ignored it for a week but they sent me an email saying they would give me a 60 dollar discount. there's 3 plans 3 months for 140 a month then 1 month for 180 and 65 for a week I think. I did 3 sessions for 2 weeks now but I think its 4-6 sessions per month
My therapist doesn't reply to my chat with dialogue. She just says she read my messages. I'm new to the account, just one day so I hope my therapist starts engaging in the chat.
They disable comments on all of their videos because they pretend your therapist will always be a pretty girl. I went to call them out on that. Commens disabled on all videos. Lost a lot of respect after that.
This isnt a crticism of betterhelp, but i sincerely hate the ad where the girl uses the phrase "Put my feelings in a little box" Can you tell me youre acting _more overtly_ by using such a cliche psych phrase? Be a better actor? NEVER!
I have an usually large ‘member’ I know a lot of men crave this but it has affected me somewhat negatively. I play basketball and am very self conscious as I have seen people staring when I play and it takes me out of my mind focus also my girlfriend says it hurts sometimes so I tried this website therapy and the therapist literally laughed at me in text which is very unprofessional :/
I am so sorry you had such a negative experience with better help, how unprofessional of the therapist. I hope you are able to find the good help you deserve! All the best to you!
Betterhelp pays the therapist 30 dollars an hour, doesn't pay the therapist for no-shows, and days in terms and conditions it does not provide counseling or Therapy. It's not a great company. It makes huge profits billions s month and refuse to pay the counselors s fair wage
@@ThelVadlee Yea. Willing to listen for $$$. Total scam and waste of time. Go whine about your problems to your dog. It's about as effective as "therapy" and much cheaper.
