I used to work in a bakery. When dusting your pan instead of using flour. Use about 2 tablespoons of your DRY cake mix. Makes it even more tastey! Or you can use cocoa powder too. 😀👍❤

I love all your recipes and I enjoy everyone of them. You can feel the love from you as you are given out the recipes. Most of us just want the media and people trying to divide us as a Country to leave us a long and let us love each other .Look in our big cities the shootings that are happening and they worry about dividing us instead of showing some love to these cities and stopping the crime and deaths of the youth.

Please please don't get offended about what I'm going to say. By no means do I mean it negative. Maybe because I came from such a screwed up family, but being from the south. ( Mississippi,/new Orleans) I have always envied afro/american families, because of their closeness, and their cooking. And by that I mean there's is nothing better than a black grandma cooking on a Sunday afternoon. Lol having all of the family come over for Sunday dinner, and no one on this planet can cook better than grandma. And no matter what kind of trouble you get into, grandma would always talk to you, take you into her arms and squeeze you, and tell you , you will always be loved and have a home. Then make you a big o plate and make you sit down to eat. Like I said I don't mean any disrespect. I'm sitting here crying as I write this. White families don't have that bond or love.. so please keep the videos coming. And please don't anyone get offended by what I said. I have so much mad respect.
Gina, I stayed riveted to your presentation for the entire time. I kept thinking.."Girl....you belong in the classroom!" Your voice, your enthusiasm, your entire manner speaks "Master Teacher". I know because I am now retired but taught 30 years at middle school. You have a love for your subject, love for your listeners and a total knack for teaching how something is done in such a way as to captivate your audience. I love the way she tells you how to do things that most people who bake would know. But there are so many new bakers out there who maybe don't know about the placement in the oven. Not everyone is born a baker. She just drops that advice in without making it seem like she talking down to you. I love her

I love to see you younger ladies fix these older recipes. I collect cookbooks and some of these are in books from the 50's and 60's, so they are tried and true, and you can not go wrong with these and they're easy, too!!!!

I watched this video this afternoon and was baking along with you this evening. I marked 8 years of abstinence a couple weeks ago, and I celebrated today with this "Better Than Sex Cake".
I’m with you. I’ve had 12 years of abstinence since I got divorced, and the reason why is I love God and Jesus more than sex and because I am still single. 😥 My sister, who is such a good lady and a dear sister, but who doesn’t love God, says I’m missing out, but I’m only trying to be loyal to God and follow His commandments! I believe he has so much in store for me if I show my loyalty to Him! That’s the only way I can abstain and have lasted this long. I hardly miss it, usually, but I really think I must deserve this cake since I’ve been so trustworthy! Especially since some say it’s better than sex! Maybe this cake will make up for it. ;) I should make this cake asap! Cant wait to indulge! But, not too much - I still am the same weight as in my picture that was obviously taken eight years ago, because it has two of my then four year old triplets in it! 🥰

I made this cake and it was good, but after it sat overnight it was magically delicious. It's one of those cakes where after it sits a couple of days it's perfect. Miss Gina you made it a complete success with your step by step instructions.

A tip when you use cool whip for an icing. Take 1/4 cup of sour cream and one Tablespoon of sugar mixed then add to your cool whip. Stays firm. Looks great.

This cake truly is better than anything! I made this several years ago, and took it to a potluck at a local hospital where I worked.. We set up all of our food in a lounge just off of the nurses station. This cake was gone within an hour! Some of the doctors wandering between the floors told other doctors that the cake was up on the 4th floor, and we were inundated with people wanting some! I had to promise to make and bring another one and make sure that it got to the physicians lounge. I actually made the cake the night before, and I put it in the freezer because I usually had a fairly long drive to work. By the time we served it, it was thawed and absolutely wonderful! I may have to make it again, as it has been a long time! 😊

@@leslieparker4082 for low call/ fat on any cake mix sub 4 egg whites vs 3 eggs and applesauce instead of oil. Tastes pretty good made that way. I do it all the time.

This is the BEST cake I have ever tasted! It is pure heaven. A friend gave me and my family 4 pieces and there is only 3 of us, needless to say we fought over who was going to get the last piece!
