Agree with that review, I had a pair of previous Pro SL the squeaking drove me mad, also found they took too long to break in.

How is the waterproof on the Fuel vs. the Pro SL? I already own a comfortable walking pair, but looking for something waterproof for those wet days

Hi Jacob. The Fuel has a gusset that connects the tongue t the shoe and gives some extra waterproof protection compared to the Pro SL 👍

Good review as usual, mate. I opted for the Carbon last year. If you’re saying the 2022 standard is now up there with 2021 Carbon, I’d be really keen to know how the 2022 Carbon feels. Any plans?

Thanks buddy. To be honest, no immediate plans, it’s a pricey shoe and I if I had to bet I’d guess the new Carbon feels pretty similar to the old one…maybe even softer under foot as the new one also uses Stratofoam. I loved the previous version of the carbon, although the price is a tough one to swallow!

@@GolfGuyReviews it sure is. If it is similar to the old carbon, then I don’t see why people would opt for it over the New STandard. What about G/Fore shoes…any plans?

Wore these for three rounds. If you don’t have to walk at all, they’re great… minimal walking, then your heels will hate you.

I find I have to break these in for sure. I think it just depends on your foot shape and how tough your feet are, as I know plenty of people who walk the course in these and have no problems straight out the box, but I know my feet would be destroyed if I tried that 🤣🤦‍♂️

Strongly disagree. Shoes are individual. These fit my foot very nicely and are waterproof, stable and comfortable. As a single digit HDP player, those are the criteria that I require in a golf shoe.

The footjoy fuel just looks so much better. If the comfort is close I think that’s the route to take.

Id say it’s a different kind of comfort, the Fuel is like a pair or running trainers, so you don’t need to break them in. The Pro SL is a lot softer under foot, but will likely need to be broken in and fits closer to the foot. I’m a big fan of the fuel 👍 Thanks for watching Tony

Thanks for watching Mouse. They will be coming to the US, but they’ve not been released yet. I think they’re just building up stock levels first. It was same with the Footjoy Fuel earlier this year. The US launch was a month or so behind
