Replicas are one thing and have their following. An homage based on the original is another. Nothing wrong with that. More padding and adjustably goes a long way towards more comfort. I can see this being the perfect chair for my stereo set up.

Great video! I had planned to purchase the HM Eames lounge chair, but then I discovered the Stressless Mike - Power Base - and was so impressed that I bought it instead. I have been using it for about a year now and continue to be amazed by the comfort and support it provides for my entire body.
I have been debating on making an Eames or purchasing a clone. Mostly because I love how they look. But I've been aware of the comfort issue for a long time, hence why they have been low on the list of things to do. That said i think i could combine most of these positive traits with more of the Eames look. A reclining Eames and the adjustable head rest would be the cats meow.
It would be cool if you also brought in a short person to test the fit of the chair. Seems like these types of content all pander only to men, leaving out shorter women. Men aren't the only ones shopping esp for living room pieces!
Someone in my town must be a reseller for this brand because I will see posts all the time for chairs from them new, not this one though. It looks pretty good for the money. I love my Ekornes Stressless chair though. I finally for to sit in an Oslo Norway chair today at Costco, always thought it might be similar to Stressless but definitely not no par, nice chair but definitely not on the same level.
Looks good but for me the Eames lounge chair wins. One the long term value and 2, for critical music listening the elevated headrest will impact the sound.
weve come full circle people were using lounge chairs at their pc desks from the beginning then everyone thought casters and upright seating were better.

The thing that makes the Eames chair a classic is its simple but elegant lines and the fact it was ground breaking when first introduced. I’m 72 and recall the stir it made back then. I’m sitting in a knock-off version typing this. The Chita Elvin appears to be as comfortable but for me it is at best an ugly step-child by comparison side-by-side.

Not sure how anyone thinks the Eames Chair is comfortable. It’s not bad to sit in for a while, but the one I have in my office is pretty much unused because my office chair is way more comfortable.
You're wrong there's nothing "better" than the Eames lounge chair. Sure this can be more comfortable and better priced however Eames is an art piece you can sit in, this is just a beautiful chair at a reasonable price.This looks like a cheaper Mulhauser Plycraft Mr Chair with the Pringles shaped head rest version. The tufted straight back mr chair is probably the ugliest and the wingback Mr Chair is probably the closest to an Eames art piece chair

Ha ha! Your criteria are not what matter when applied to the HM Eames Lounge Chair. Similar to longer span bridges not being able to attract as much notice as the Golden Gate.
Yeah but its not Herman Miller Eames, its all about style. That is not it :D Sorry, sure it can be comfy but so is ikea 150 dollar chair, its just not an Herman Miller Eames.. :D Same as old model rolex, its not a good watch, technically.
@@Zara-ub7hc what if I told you Zara that the argument of the video conclusion was that chita chair is better and more comfortable than the eames in the video even though it's 6x price like you said. And that sometimes things being 6x the price doesn't equate to better such as the whole topic and contention of the video.
