been caught up on this manga for a few months, adaptation is great so far

i always saw Sakura similar to a stray or abused dog. He lashes out, not even able to fathom actual good will directed toward him. Pushing any of it back, and accustomed to being insulted and rejected simply because he's been in that spot for so long, its comfortable because it is predictable.

One thing i like about this is that it's actually about the fights, the gangs, and focuses on the characters. TR tries to mix that with the whole time travel stuff yet the gang part isn't even executed properly in the first place. But its still good until it got a meh adaptation. Animation could've clearly been better.

It is actually similar to Tokyo Revengers but in a not frustrating way.. 😅

Japan really is amazing. I just hate that I couldn't skate during the day. Me and the boys had to go out at night. Saw some sketchy places along the way. 😂

I wish they animated other Wind breaker about bikes and stuff 😔

TR is my beloved, but yes, this is awesome and I'm glad I can watch it. I look forward to enjoying the whole season and then buying merch of the boys to join my TR boys..

Intro spoils the characters but I didn't see anything that was story line spoil.

In terms of production value it's way better than Tokyo Revengers for sure. In terms of story/plot and characters...that's yet to be seen for me. I like this MC and having watched episode 2 it seems like we might have an interesting cast on our hands, but so far I'm not seeing the plot. I know it's only 2 episodes but something about this feels cheesy compared to the start of TR. That could of course change dramatically in the coming weeks but I'm gonna chill with these TR comparisons personally. I think both series are trying to achieve different things with their plots and it's also important to note the author of Wind Breaker is a big fan of TR and is heavily inspired by it.
