Very hard to find Basso in the market right now. I like my Basso sample better than Terre d'Hermes, but need to sample Isola Blu before deciding which one to buy.

I love Basso. Its been my signature for this summer. I wanted to make it my fragrance vefore everyone else caught on...

Hello Steven, how are you? I'm from Buenos Aires, Argentina. Because of this, I often have to make blind purchases. I want to make a purchase of a definitive vetiver and my three options are 1) Vetiver imperial Boadicea the victorius (which is also from Provenzano), 2) Basso de Sospiro (Provenzano), and 3) Vetiver Parfum pour homme de Roja. Could you help me with your recommendations? At least between this one and the boadicea, which are both from the same perfumer. I am very interested in knowing the comparison between the performance of both, and the quality of the raw materials, especially which of the two has more body. Thank you so much!! I have TDH, Vetiver Imperiale, Red Vetiver, Basso and Isola Bleu on the way, that’s I much I love the scent profile.

Terre d Hermes eau tre fresh but smoother and much more elevated. Loved my sample on my list to purchase a full bottle

Sospiro isn’t messing around. Basso, Vibrato, Bel Canto, and Erba Leather are the fragrances I own from the house. Basso is my personal favorite.

I would like to know the Sospiro/Xerjoff story, are they still sister brands or did Sospiro branch out on their own, with fragrances like Erba Pura now back in the original Sospiro presentation?

To me this smells nothing like Hermes

Basso smells to me like a simpler, fresher version of Oligarch / Isola Blu.

How close is this to oligarch/isola scent wise? Some see it as a clone of it, in short is it worth it?

Vibrato is overhyped IMO. Opening and mid yes is amazing but dry down atleast on my skin is just plain lemons. Way overpriced for just plain lemon smell

BUYER BEWARE: 😢 I just got a 5ml of Basso and Vibrato.. Basso smells like a 1990’s Cologne my Grandpa would wear. Basso is not “Fresh” or “Clean”… Its dark and smells like Gillette Aftershave. Nothing “Bright” about this. It smells like a cologne you can buy from Walgreens or CVS. Maybe I’m missing it. But I never smell what these reviewers smell.
