I bought this bike this past January but in size large. Really like the color, but had a much greater budget for a bike that I couldn't find. Really liked how this one fit, so it was my project bike this past winter. Replaced the fork with a Rockshox Recon. Replaced drivetrain (MIne was a full Altus, not Alivio) with a 1x10 Advent X and upgraded the 160mm front rotor to 180mm. Sold off the old parts and wow, this bike is fun! Edit, also replaced those tires. Egads, they are only 30tpi! Kenda's Booster tires they sell elsewhere are 60-120 tpi's, these things were not going to last on anything other than a rail trail. Replaced those with Conti's CrossKings at 120tpi for future tubeless upgrade.
Very nice....i have done the same.....i have aspect 950 '19,new rockshox fork with poplock,new brakes shimano m506,new shimano disks 160 rear,180 front,new tires from vittoria tubeless and the bike is very very good......😉
Hi, kinda new to the mtb scene, but bought the same bike, and love it! When upgrading the fork, did it give it some more travel, or should i keep it at the 100mm travel it has now? Thought about giving it 120mm travel instead, as the single tracks near where i live are pretty technical. Thanks!
Having Aspect 930 pearl white 2021 don't see any other brand can beat at the same price. ....Great deal...and offcourse has brand value of Scott... Just go for Scott!!
