Better Things is the story of Sam Fox, a single mother and working actor with no filter, raising her three daughters in Los Angeles. She also looks after her mother, an English ex-patriate who lives across the street. At the end of the day, Sam’s just trying to earn a living, navigate her daughters’ lives, survive her family, have fun with a friend or two, and maybe squeeze in some private time.

EXCELLENT - I binge watched all 4 seasons over 3 days!!!

This is a wonderful scene, it's really unfortunate that it was cut. It gives an interesting perspective on acting: Jenifer's character needed to be in the role until it was time to deliver to the camera. Once she was able to do so, she immediately returned to normal. Sam was able to recognize this as a fellow actor and guide the director.

Oh, my gosh! Thank you, Pamela Adlon for sharing these deleted scenes!!! Wow, I can relate to this scenario and yet the heightened aspect of the scenes still had my jaw dropped and breath caught! I’ve never been quite in this situation before-I pray I never will, lol! But LOVE the way Sam handles it like a champ, taking care of herself, her director friend and the episode! Sam is a BOSS on soooo many levels! This whole series is a work of art. And I LOVE me some Jenifer Lewis! Just, FIRE!
