Betting on unity: Pope gives pallium to Las Vegas archbishop 

Pope Francis celebrated Mass for the feasts of Sts. Peter and Paul in St. Peter's Basilica and blessed the palliums to be given to new metropolitan archbishops, including Archbishop George L. Thomas of Las Vegas, appointed in the last year.
