Mrs. Buckley, you have brought me to tears many times before, but here, I cry like never before. Your aged voice lets out all the richness of your inner life, which you communicate with so much disarming simplicity. Music, voice, and life, one thing that has your name. Thank you for existing, Mrs. Buckley. I would really, really like to hear you sing "Send in the Clowns" live, for me.
I love this. What an incredible woman and moving delivery. You can tell she feels that song, and she makes you feel it, too! I’m a new fan, can’t believe it took me 50+ years to discover her music, but better late than never! ♥️🎶🙏
Betty sang this song live on October 2, 2023 after receiving a Lifetime Achievement Award at the American Songbook Association Gala in NYC. It was an evening filled with tremendous love and respect for her. She’s truly the best! ❤❤
This is my favorite song of all time. And Betty Buckley you are absolutely amazing! I watch this over and over and I have hope...there I said HOPE. The work begins. Lots of love to you!
Betty Buckley, thank you for sharing this song with us. It is so profound and the setting is so intimate. I can't describe how much I love it, and you. Wonderful!
This is so incredibly beautiful and moving, I can’t get over it! This song is so touching and Betty’s performance is incredible! She is so amazing and so sweet! I once wrote a fun letter when she was playing Sunset Boulevard in London and she sent me a very sweet reply! I have always loved her and now, after seeing this, I love her to bits! It’s a song and a recording to cherish! A❤️❤️❤️
This is fabulous! My new fave. When I find myself with writer's block or my anxiety has gotten the best of me, I will play this. Thank you for such an uplifting song!
Even though has lovely voice has aged(as we all do),she is a wonderful and powerful singer. I was lucky enough to see her on Broadway in both Cats and Edwin Drood. In person, her voice is just mesmerizing Her voice just seems to ring thru the air and can cut like a knife.. The greatest, most versatile voice I've ever heard on the stage. Grazie mille cara Betty
