I can't believe it's been almost 40 years since I first saw Betty B on EIGHT IS ENOUGH. I loved Abby. That voice and smile. So sweet! Lovely interview with Mike Douglas. Thank you for posting this song. It's beautiful and timeless. Did this song air on the show??

BHAKTI BROPHY from what I know, it didn't. Originally this was supposed to be the song, but was replaced with "So-La" because it was more easily accompanied by guitar.

Yes it did air on Eight is Enough. It aired during the final season. The title of the show has Telethon in it. It is a beautiful song!

I just watched a rerun of season 5 episode 16 where Abby ( Betty Buckley) sings this song on a telethon. The words are very Spiritual and it reminds me of inner child healing work ( ACA 12 step)
