@@nigelproctor He definitely says "you can't follow me" a couple times, but Tommy said originally that it's just gibberish to accentuate the meaning of the song which is that they can just make noise and it can have beauty and meaning, like Merzbow, who he cited as being influenced by around the time of writing these lyrics in the bands recent Twitch stream. All that said, You can definitely hear him say a couple phrases ha
I mean it's cool because it seems like (probably stating the obvious here lol) they're saying it's gibberish and totally metal but at the same time they can be "capable of beauty". Like saying to those people who are like "Ew, metal, you cant understand them so it's bad and evil lol", but they are amazing at being beautiful as well.
I don’t want to be a nerd / snob / hater, but I don’t understand the trick of making remasters of the classic albums, you only spoil surroundings and sound, the sound of technology from the past. I understand how to do this if you recorded tracks on a daddys tape recorder, but you have a gorgeous sound that you immediately recognize and immediately fall in love with. Honestly, as much as I love your music, but this is a mediocre mindless job of a sound engineer who first sat down at Fl Studio. You just mutilated my favorite song. Sorry for my bad Eng.
This album wasn't recorded or mixed by their long time recording engineer. They never liked the sound of the album and more than likely feel that this mix is more of the sound they wanted when they recorded this album. It appears all the albums they are giving this treatment to are the ones under Victory Records. Perhaps because of budget restraints they were unable to get the record to sound they wanted until now. They didn't take anything away from the previous released version of the album, they added to it if you so ever desire it. Some people prefer the unmastered version of the album that leaked months before it's release which had an unfinished version of The Man Land on it with different leads. In short: listen to the original if they "ruined" your favorite song. Also, the alby=um was remixed then remastered.
