bro, im just listening and loving it. they did a great job of really brighting it up without ruing the brutal-ness of it all. love it and appreciating it.
The 2003 version is just like that classic rattling wooden coaster that is old but too much fun to stop riding (despite the headache) this remake just has too much polish.
@@nigelproctor Jamie King is amazing for sure! Definitely did not mean to discredit his work. Just on this particular record I really enjoy the original mix.
I feel the same way about this and Alaska.. it sounds weird a little. Like In Alaska I feel the crunchy up front guitar sound is not as prevalent in the remaster.. same with this album I suppose.
@@mindseyemusicreview Autodidact was the first track I thought to listen too to see how the remaster sounded.. And maybe it’s the song that caused me to feel that way about the remaster but there is something lacking in the crunch of the guitar on the intro and it makes me a little sad.. still sounds good tho.
