This 10th anniversary edition of Between the Buried and Me’s critically-acclaimed fifth studio album, The Great Misdirect, is out now on CD, vinyl and digital. Newly remixed and remastered. In addition to the standard black double-LP release, a special edition color variant (disc one in translucent orange and disc two in opaque white) is available exclusively via the official Between the Buried and Me store, and on tour (while stocks last).

God i love this fucking song dude. The imagery I get is so crazy. It's like our lives are just this circus (the whimsical piano parts) ran by a dark cabal of powerful people (the Night Owls) who exert their influence over all aspects of government and industry to the point where they can manipulate societies (while you sleep, we discuss, discuss our future...your future) on a global scale through orchestrating bullshit world events that everyone thinks are real but they serve a more nefarious agenda...kind of like this pandemic. (trust us and we will all be safe, we are the new government)

This song it's a fucking classic in my book; I have listened to it countless times and it never ceases to amaze me... really. All kinds of feelings and moods: from straight-up anger and brutality, prog wacky passages to folkish epicness. BTBAM4LIFE!

This being one of my absolute favorite songs, it pains me that this "remix" is done so poorly. Some parts do add improved musical clarity, while others ( @ 2:11 ) are muddy as hell.

Some Dog Fashion Disco vibes from this. Until this the only song i'd heard of BTBAM was Shevanel Cut a Flip. No reason why I didn't keep up with you, just really patchy in my listening to even the stuff I like. You certainly changed in direction, changed musically over time. Nice.
