My Thoughts
The game has seen some significant improvements since I received the key. The overall game has got a lot better, and it is enjoyable. The mechanics are fun, and I love the combat; it is simple yet addictive to fire the cannons and ensure you do not overheat. This game has good voice acting, a compelling story (if you are willing to read it because some parts are not voiced), and decent customization options. Overall, I would buy the game when it is on sale. I enjoy it, but it still needs some work. To buy the game, visit store.steampowered.com/app/72...

Starpoint Gemini 2 and warlords has the broad side mechanic. Star Trek Starfleet command gold edition has it also. That's old game but I would say is the best tactical ship game as you control everything on the ship.And have 6 sides of the ship unlike most new only have 4.

From what I know; The devs were running out of cash and had to take over finishing the development for another game (Traveller's Rest) and that contract took a front seat. If they are to be believed they are now focusing on their own game again and working on the final content. Personally I hope they succeed since what is here so far is competent.

Thank you so much for the information. I’m going to have a new video coming in a week about that and my follow up review. I pray they can pull it off, I never want to see anything that could be enjoyable, fail. Means we lose out on a potential game to play and enjoy. Overall though, I’m still enjoying the game. It’s my, in “between” other games go to right now.

I haven't played the game since May 2021, I think I got to the last chapter at that time, and haven't really gone back to it yet. Yes it was a little clunky at first but tor me it was something different, to the Homeworld series and Swords of the Stars II, I was playing back then.

And that is what I wanted, something different to play. I’ve played Pulsar and that was going great before the devs gave up on it. To have to work together and everyone man their station was so cool, like Star Trek brew crew or old school bridge commander. So many fun games to be had lately.
