Now leader of Reform and MP for Clacton . He is keeping his eye on ongoing “Special Relationship” with potential future President. Clacton will survive for a couple of Days. Starmer was in Washington in less than a week of becoming Prime Minister. You could argue that he had more important things to attend to.

For one thing Nigel Farage brought about the U.K.’s brexit from Europe. The BBC in general will hate Farage for this. Also the BBC hates Trump too. Years ago I would naturally cut Emily Maitlis some slack, but her treatment of the Hungarian Minister because of their policy on Islamic immigration opened my eyes. Nigel Farage has already been speaking to the American media about Clacton while he's been out there. He's really helping put Clacton on the map, which is probably more than anyone else has done for the town in a long, long time.
