(BEWARE) Kaabo Wolf King GTR 2 amp Charger FAILURE

20 minutes into owning my GTR. One of the two chargers failed. Then the following day, the 2nd charger failed. I reached out to Voro and Kaabo furious. Others in the GTR Facebook groups voiced their frustrations with the 2amp Kaabo chargers as well.
Melvin the owner of Voro reached out and rectified the issue quickly and put me at ease about the whole situation. I'll have 2 newly modified chargers tomorrow morning and will receive 2 updated Kaabo chargers once they are available
I just wanted to let others know that are thinking about buying a GTR to be mindful of the current model of 2amp chargers GTR's ship with. Voro is currently pressing Kaabo to update these chargers ASAP and will have a new model of charger shipping out with the GTR very soon.
Amazing scooter though. More video in regards to performance coming

Good news kaabo is re-ordering new battery chargers to be better and non-failing luckily for the GTRs now

received mine yesterday what a nightmare. sent wrong charger (wasn't even the whole charger at that. no cord to the block that plugs into the wall) battery stuck. wants me to take a pliers to it to fix (nope). 3-5 weeks until a updated charger. can't even power it on. just wow. looking for a full refund now.

I just got my scooter last week they gave me 2amp chargers also.. once I pull my battery out I can't get it back in without forcing it I don't have a pigtail like you do

seeing this after receiving mine lol, sucks hopefully i'm one of the non defective batches :( 4 charges so far(from ~50% battery mostly) and nothing has happened yet

update no charging issues so far but all of the lights stopped working, and from the troubleshooting this seems like a dead junction box and there was a thermal paste leak inside the front box thing unacceptable qc for such an expensive scooter i'm just extremely mad that this happened, I couldn't even get at least 1 long ride at night(since its safer w/o cars) before it's too late because of snow/cold it is way too dangerous for me to drive without any rear light...

@@elliotbaltazar nope, unresponsive seller :/ but I think I have found the issue being the junction box, they're cheap on aliexpress so I think i'll order now instead of waiting for support btw are you also having the same problem? hmm

@@cheshire_ Thanks for the response. I don't have this scooter. Just trying to get feedback from you and your experience before considering a purchase. Sounds like it's a pass for me.

@@elliotbaltazar Well, that one issue does not make the scooter bad, it's fun and well built with lots of available repair parts but even then, I don't think it's worth the price tag, I feel like it is mostly based on max speed(you will never actually go over 70km/h 99% of the time, it is very unsafe) plus Kaabo does not have the best track record on safety so I decided to sell mine once I get it fixed, and will be going for the Apollo Pro(Still expensive but I got it heavily discounted so its fine for me :) )

if you get one just hope your experience wasn't like mine. Waiting on the refund as I type this. send wrong Kaabo charger and even that was missing ac cord NOT the correct updated charger I had to wait for. battery was jammed couldn't remove it. One of the main reasons was to store it indoors in midwest winters. wouldn't turn on (after 7 days no action it goes into deep sleep and need charger to awaken it). so....I'm kinda over scooters rn. Looks fun in the videos though from others!
