It was over price man. I bought the Toursor electric scooter from Amazon. The scooter came with 72v 40ah battery, security alarm, 14inch tires, both 5,000w motors, 2 charges, 12inch display screen, and with seat. I got 65 miles on a single charge. The top speed is 65mph. I rarely do the top speed. I like range better for me.
So sorry for you. I bought a brand new STORM from VORO and it came with a battery that wouldn’t charge. Called them the day of arrival, sent them videos upon request, tried to put a claim through insurance (they said that on a new scooter, VORO was libel), ect ect. Finally just bought a new 35 ah STORM UP battery with insulated ports from Minimotors USA. $1600. Problem solved. People… do your research before buying!!! Customer service cannot be understated
I have a Blade mini after a 1000 miles still running strong only had a flat tire issue but so far i would reccomend blade scooters and also buy another one
Back again after watching more of your content, your riding around constantly in 5th gear and smashing out passing traffic like you’re riding a Hyabusa, every issue is due to your handling of this vehicle, I’m looking at the vids and they show riding in extremely cold weather, then super hot in the summer, don’t put tire sealant in those tires, if it gets into the motor assembly, you’re screwed, probably why your wheels seized up on you. Tire shops suggest you don’t use those fix a flat gooos and stuff so I can imagine it’s not a good idea to put it anywhere near an electric motor. Sounds like you’ve turned off traction control and the brake assistance(reason you’re burning through brake pads) You are not a careful rider, it’s not the scooter, it’s you. You’ve probably cranked the adjustment on the rear shock so much that it failed. 3 controllers, it’s not the equipment it is the equipment operator.
Just reviewed some of your videos and I can confirm, you are abusing this scooter, understand that advertisers and marketers have led you all to believe that these vehicles are all terrain, they are not, they are also not designed to run with highway traffic at 50+ mph daily. You appear to be a larger person as well, 200-230 lbs, and you are stressing this vehicle to the max with the way you ride, the power is there for range, not for smashing out in 5th gear or S mode constantly. I would suggest, changing the way you approach riding these vehicles. I am about to crest 800 miles on my GTR that I purchased in April of this year, not a single issue, still have half of the original brake pads left. That’s not a notch in the steering look at the cables, they are getting caught between the fork and the body of the scooter. Last but not least stop calling it Kaboooo the name of the brand is Kaabo, like hobo. It’s funny that Ginger on Wheels, Freshly Charged, Electric Scooter Academy(delivers DoorDash daily on a GTR) and Rider Guide have no issue with their GTR’S either, Andrew from Freshly Charged did blow a controller but it was due to aggressively pushing the scooter to its limits. The scooter is designed for commuting and gives you some power to get out of the way when you need it, most of you want it to be a dirt bike, scooter and Lamborghini at the same time, this is why you have so many issues. Stop showing off, beating up the vehicle and ride it with care and it works as intended. I get the feeling this was your first scooter.
750 miles on my GTR, not a single problem, it sounds like you are a bit abusive the way you ride and you try and treat this like a dirt bike, it is not. Did you purchase this from Voro motors? Or did you get it from Ali Express?
It's an off-road scooter and the GTR it's supposed to handle real off-road terrain, or they might as well have just stuck to the GT. You should be able to get decent jumps, but nothing too crazy. If it can't handle decent jumps 5 and hard rugged trails then it's not worth the price tag.
Tip about your tires: FILL them bitches up with that auto-sealing goo or tire slime... I used maybe 4oz of sealant in each tire. maybe 8oz. I forgot the size of the bottle I bought but it was half and half. I've had the same set of tubeless tires on my scooter for about 1000 miles now without changing them. Tread is still great. I've had 4+ punctures causing complete flats. Was able to walk it home, fill it with air, give it some hours and its like new again. Each and every time. I can literally see the gouges and holes from where nails and what not dug into the tire causing them but are now plugged with the sealant. Yeah it adds a bunch of weight to the wheels, maybe a bit of uneven weight. But so negligible it's hardly noteworthy. And with the pro of never having to swap my tires I say its ENTIRELY worth it.
Thunder 3 rider here from NY. Some of first things a lot of riders out here do is change the breaks and tires. Most go with Magura mt5 or mt7 or just get better quality pads. I went with aftermarket pads for the Nutt 4 piston breaks. PMT tires are also the go to because they are made of rubber and not nylon like stock tires. I run 11" slicks in a 40 front 41 rear configuration. Kinda sucks that these parts arent better quality but most breaks they put on a mid to low grade mountain bike breaks not made of the weight of rider + scooter + speed. PMT tires are just flat out amazing and id say is a go to for most serious riders. If i remeber correctly, the dualtron storm had similar issues with its all in 1 controller, at least thats what ive heard. Btw, not sure if the gtr has this setting but electronic breaking (ebs) helps save break pads a bit. Just be mindful of trail breaking into a corner since it can lock up on you. Ride safe brother.
Damn man that voltage sag when you get above 55mph, your battery percent drops to single digits! I saw 3%! As soon as you drop to the 40mph range it jumps back up to 38%! They really need to use a larger battery in future models!
That's an unusual amount of flats especially for the newer permanently installed puncture coated tire designs. I have heard that if you put anti sealant (Stans, Slime, ect) in those types of tires, it may actually breakdown the pre installed coating but they are too new for any real data yet. I feel ya, I hate changing tires!
I use my cheap 25 dollar tyre on my 800 dollar 1000w constant 2000w peak cheap scooter, and it looks like brand new. My friend put 1500 miles in and after just for the grip he changed rhe tyre.
Damn, wolf king gtr was my dream scooter but seeing this video ima reconsider. My 1300$ 60v38ah 6000w electric scooter from China has better quality and robustness than this, sorry for you. You definitely shouldn't have to deal with all those issues on a 4k$ scooter. My Dualtron Eagle Pro has 15 000km and is still rocking strong, not one electronical failure since 2021
That's why I stick with the cheaper brands,. the same thrill for less money. I learn them like the "back of my hand" so I will be ready to fix anything on them. I have never had any issues despite 5 years of riding and putting thousands of miles on them. All of mine have cheap mods to the designs, like air passage throughout the decks along with thermal pads and paste for the controllers (never blown any despite 52,57, up to 62 mph GPS on 1, and I never ride in the rain) RGB lighting, Bluetooth, PMT tires, etc... Laotie es18, Laotie Landbreaker, 2 QuickWheel S3's 5600 watts, 6000 watts. all long-range fast machines. Some people think if you pay more you get more, but that is just NOT TRUE!!
Wow!! 3 controllers. Andrew from freshly charged channel had similar issue with controller right out of the box. Thats crazy. I bought the same black GTR model ( first pev) nightmare from voromotors but Melvin was super cool giving me full refund. Best part of that experience was him calling me to rectify the problems but it eas so bad i opted out completely. Bought a updated Nami max with PMTs and so far so good. Thing is amazing!
@@scottg429 I don't know. It was around the time last October they had the charger issues but said they would ship the new ones. Received it with an incomplete kaabo mantis charger and the battery was completely stuck jammed. Gashes in the handlebar etc. it was a lemon but they didn't tell me if it was updated GTR or not
Yeah man that's crazy that your tires locked up when your controller went out,dam you think that be a safety hazard issue, some kind of lawsuit, i have the gtr to,i got it when it first came out,now im worried about me riding and the controller goes out,and tires locking up.,thats so crazy
Controller can’t lock up the tires. There no resistance…. It does not have regen breaking. So there no way I could think of that would lock them up. I don’t have that scooter but understanding how they work. There no way I can think of that a controller can lock it up. Maybe EBS brakes malfunctioning maybe.
@@dinachoueiry6073 Back a few years ago, I was riding a Lime scooter and the wheel locked up, then vibrated. I think it was trying to run backwards. Maybe a hall sensor/magnet issue?
Damn. I dodged a bullet sounds like. Bought from voromotors and right out of the box it had problems. Was happy to eventually get a full refund. No problems with my Nami max. I went somewhere else. Voromotors was a nightmare for my first PEV experience
@@xJesseJames33x I have the GTR with the snap in battery not the foldy wire, also 700 miles and I have not had any problems so far. I feel bad for this guy lol.
Do you know what cause the Stepdown Transformer to stop working? I also have a wolf king GTR and none of the lights works no even horn but the scooter runs normally
