I’ve had mine for 4months. No wobble though so far ,for me. I’ve been told these tires are pressure sensitive ( V E R Y). So installed a TPMS and have maintained the factory psi to the dot.
I own an interceptor 650 BS6 from 2019, and the stock tyres from Pirelli works just fine, with no wobbles at all. The downsides I feel are: 1. The stock lights are useless for north Indian winters as there is hardly any visibility. 2. The service part is true, I have had missing problems while riding, went to the service centre 4 times after which they figured that one of the cylinders was not functioning properly. 3. The footpegs of the rider hits the shin a lot initially, although I feel it is good because the exhaust gets pretty hot. Though this might be a problem for shorter riders. 4. The footrests for the pillion are slightly on the higher side. 5. The stock seat is not made for touring at all. Even in the city, the pillion will never be comfortable after certain kms. 6. The bike is fairly heavy. Regarding mileage, I get around 17kmpl in dead traffic in city, however on highways i easily get 30-35 kmpl maintaining a constant 90-100 I am happy with the bike overall though.
Need to add continental owner ship points Not above 100 The wobble may come after 140, tho I didn’t get any tank slap or wobble issues till 145 around 2 months high way mileage was 23-24 Now it’s 30.8 to be precise on 100-120 kmph constant speeds. I did mileage test twice ! City I hardly get around 18-20 Man this machine twin 650 continental makes me smile every time I ride and mr clean on GT is just wow More than bang on bucks !
My brother's interceptor didn't gave good mileage figures in the start but eventually the mileage figures turned up after 3-4 services. The current mileage figures of his are 27-29 kmpl in highway and something around 24kmpl in the city
You should put the tyre pressure exactly as mentioned. 32 front and 36 rear for solo riding. 0.5 psi drop can also cause wobbling. My personal experience.
I own a interceptor 650. Well I disagree with you on the fuel lid, it is not difficult to open or close. It's just you need to follow the right process. Also it's a classic bike and it goes with the theme
Now that’s some interesting things to know about RE 650, very well captured. Sure it answers all the doubts for ppl who r looking to buy 650 including me. Thank you
Soft saddle bags are best for Interceptor. There are complaints that chassis breaks because of the top box and the rack. It can also affects the centre of gravity and the balance of the bike
Im 5'6 and have ridden my sibling's interceptor several times , what i experienced is I was able to flat foot on the bike if my legs are close to engine because of which you will end up facing a lot of heat and besides that u might hit the foot pecks of the bike while trying to move it backward by physical force.
i am 5,7 and my first bike is interceptor 6550 silver and there are 2 points one the bike is fine when you ride it and the weight is much known when you have to push it or put onn the stand
We must be ready for the biggest madness 🤪🤪🤪 Ducati ka madness only left a lasting experience 😄😄and now bigger than that... Safe thing to do is not to guess this time 🤠... Though I got the track session guess right 😁😁
Are these bike come with tubes tyres ?... what happens if you get a flat in the middle of nowhere ?... get the old puncture repair kit out ..?... any comment. tubed tyres you can put a plug in and get home ..
@@2-brothervlogs can it be rectified after visiting service centre? I saw a couple of videos in RU-vid where they take it to the SC and they fix it after trying multiple ways. Asking because thinking of getting the bike and because you are using it and you know it better.
Guys please don’t misguide people. I own a interceptor650 since 3 years now. Not even a single issue, alignment and wornout tyres causes the wobbling issue, I never faced it though. And remember no bike is perfect even Africa twin has got lot of issues been such a expensive bike. So please think before you say wrong things about any brand just for ur views.
serivce at RE ia so pathetic, i was cheated like anything... they put old oil instead of new and cheat a lot... dont leave your bike at the service centre....they will cheat u
