I own an Interceptor 650 and am am in awe of it !! Has great road presence, upright posture and riding it anywhere is a fun. True classic roadster !

What about Dominar 400? It has the best of both worlds. A perfect tourer isn't it? Comfort as Interceptor 650, fun like duke 390. And it's much cheaper in 2nd hand market than these bikes.

It's a compromise of both neither fun due to being so heavy and not as good of a tourer as RE

Nah, it doesn't have even come close to the raw power of 390 engine...it kinda compromise on both fronts but it is pretty comfortable to sit on

Buddy your wrong about the 390s lack of power in low end. There’s no need of downshifting. It has enough power at all gears. Ride the bike well before reviewing it. Also depends on the rider, not on the bike. My personal experience of owning it.

Hello brother need suggestions. I have a deal of interceptor 650 in 2.10 lacs april 2022 model cash purchase on paper. No accident no dents nothing is there. Run only 5400 but clutch plat changed. I have one small doubt that how clutch plates changed after only 5k run. Please suggest me should i consider this or leave. The were asking 28000 but after 9days of negotiations finally they agreed with 2.10lac. Please reply. Thanks in advance

I agree with most points you mentioned but as far as I know, the duke doesnt have short but infact tall gearing.

@RUN absolutely. Having owned the 200 for over 3 years, i was always amazed at how early it would hit the redline, forcing one to upshift

What about RE reliability? I know that Both KTM and RE can't stand infront of Japanese's big 4 in terms of reliability. But reliability and maintenance will RE score over Duke 390 in long term?
