i actually tried to make it work, because i spent 12000 bonds for this piece of crap, and experienced all the things mentioned... this is some unpleasant experience

I can agree with that but whats confuses me its that its my only 3marked tier X and i cant explain that.

the 50b is honestly a tank that has been left behind. When it first came out people were actually declaring it broken due to the fact of the autoloader and if you had a good team you could dump your clip and back up while your team compensates for the glass cannon...... Now it is you have other autoloaders that pen more and have more armor making it useless.

Not trying to be a buzzkill, but relying on an hp pool for trading is only effective when the tank you're playing has solid armor. The most productive way to trade is to deflect an enemy shell while penetrating with yours. The 50B's terrible turret armor means anyone with even a slight amount of skill can damage you practically every time you attempt to trade. Even if you score a kill with the autoloader, the tank took at least one damaging hit. Keep repeating that and eventually you'll be back to the garage before the battle's even over. It's even worse if your opponent survives all four shots because of a bounce or having too much hp. Now you can't fire back and he can. When you take pretty much guaranteed damage from turret shots in a situation when nearly any other heavy with an armored turret wouldn't, the tank becomes fodder. Up close it gets shredded, but if you try to play at range like a medium, you have to rely on allies to spot for you. Couple that with typical bad heavy camo and you get spotted when shooting from range, and mediums pen your turret. It's a heavy that loses in close-quarters and can only succeed at range if you somehow remain unspotted and can reliably pen 3 or 4 shots with every magazine. The only decent armor is on the hull front, and the entire turret is just one huge weak cupola that has to be exposed to shoot. This is why I sold my AMX 50B a long time ago.

@@emergencyfood3568 Trading 1600 vs 500 can still be a good trade that allows you to win the match or get more safer damage later on

I think T57 heavy is just better option.

I’m trash so my issue with it might not hold any water but for me it’s the interclip. I rarely find situations where I can unload more than 2 shells without taking a load of damage in return due to having no armor. Like at least with the T57 I can brawl a bit and bounce some shots here and there. But I can’t find situations (outside of game being a loss and the enemy letting me get a final mag off) where I can make use of the whole magazine without dying or being almost dead afterwards.

@@hollowgetsuga425 For sure, that's like end game clean up scenarios only 😩. But man when you get a full clip out that's the dragon we all chase when playing these tanks

Same, it's my first tier X and it's also my most played tank :D. It can really shine under the correct circumstances but indeed not an easy tank to play with.

Exactly my thoughts. That tank is my favourite tier 10, easy 2.5-3k average, because everyone thinks you are a bad tank.
