Can you explain the significance of the baboon. In one of the games here you castigated the player for a kill of a baboon. I didn't understand why, what is a baboon? and what is the "dance"?
What have they done to my boy??! I remember old lorraine with 6 shells in the mag on Tier 9 and I used to love it even more than batchat on 10. I dont know what is this 4 shells thing
I have over 1k battles in this tank and I still have yet to mark it. It's actually a very hard tank to play. If your surface ain't flat, don't step up to bat.
The Lorraine wheels look like normal inflatable wheels covered with tracks, same as the Lorr arties too. Does that means Lorr. can move even after being detracked?
Its not that hard to play good with this tank. Its hard to do it constantly, especially when the gun shows you the finger all the time. Funny dancing btw.😃
I have the Scharzpanzer I picked up in an auction for credits. It has a very similar play style and while I’d never call better than just decent I enjoy it. And when you start penning those LT and Scorpions with HE you can hear them says “What?” Thanks Skill!
I adore my lorr. 40t, extremely hard vehicle to play in the current meta of WoT, but man does it make you think and I prefer that to hulldown cupola sniping. Was one of my first three marks aswell so I may be a bit biased.
*The right way to play Lorr 40 t* *Stabilizer* *Aim device* *Experimental fire control system, food, APCR* *2 marks of excellence in few days and it was fun*
I've always thought the Lorr was a good, balanced vehicle, but the stat websites say its winrate is kind of garbage. I guess it's hard to play a tier 8 medium that isn't Borat or Progetto.
Question is:Why buy Lol lorr when Spaghetto is just much better MT,more armor, better spoting, much better gun handling, dpm. And realize HE ammo with 70+pen can pen your front armor!
Lorraine 40t is very good since i have started playing WoT in 2023 it's one of my favourite med tanks, you just need to know how to play it well and have affinity with autoloaders and repositioning and situational awareness and it can do wonders. Of course it is pile of crap in bad player's hands. It used to be a t9 earlier actually. The pen on standard ammo is good enough to not use gold and with bounty equip its pretty damn accurate aswell. Not to mention the rubber wheels of the tracks which even make it possible to jump of the cliffs without taking damage. You can also ram other tanks with it because it's very nimble and quite heavy. The gun handling is very nice actually with good depression and turning speeds.
@@livingproof4788 Yeah but compare size of lol lorr and spaghettto and armor. With Spaghetto you have much bigger chance to survive because enemy will shoot AP and can bounce you. And your reload painfull 30 seconds..low tiers can pen you 5-6 times and higher tiers 3-4 times thats not good. And compare dpm 1680 vs 2068 is big difference too.
@@joe125ful @joe125ful Thats why you need to know what you are doing my dude. I own Spaghetto also and i think they both are good tanks. But Lorr has higher skill cap.
@@livingproof4788 I agree i was pointing Spaghetto is much more friendly to less skilled players. And as Skill says in first game its really hard get dmg even if you have good mag potencial and you really need think a lot too. I rather choose that slower Lol Lorr it have some armor.
Man i still remember playing the OG Lorr. 40t when it was a T9 MT, glorious times. It was such a fun tank to platoon in. Only down side to it was that it's a french tank, and by that I mean that the gun is notoriously troll, you either hit every shot or miss everyshot fully aimed.
@@Derguz I get that, i use my bour all the time.... the point was just the gun handling is nothing different to other tanks it is just that is does not have the OP characteristics of those other tanks which is why people find the lorr hard to handle.
@@bonsai9069 True, I completely agree honestly. In general I think the Lorr has been continually power crept, but back in the day it was a beast.. still is if the stars align..
The lorr is a bit of a pickle. It has no armor, its huge and has a gun that encourages to play from a mid to close range. But that's where its strength also is. It is mobile, even backwards :D Its an autoloader that teaches you positional gameplay and reload timers. Compared to the progetto it sacrifices gunhandling for a bigger gun and one of the most underrated aspects, penetration. The french 100mm is around the top of it's tier in terms of base pen so it rarely requires you to load gold. And if so you still get one of the best medium tank apcr pens on its tier. Which also adds to it's selling point.
@@joe125ful Prog is the better tank overall but that does not mean the lorr is suddenly useless. The better penetration, alpha, module damage and clip potential makes it far deadlier at closer ranges against heavier tanks.
The Problem is not the nerf itself, it needed one. The problem is the way WG "reblances" tanks. After a nerf, they just dont make fun anymore. Bulldog, elc, 268. All had fun aspects und were nerfed in the discipline that made it fun to play.
Lorraine is probably the biggest pile of.. shall we say kaku I've ever driven in WoT. That being said - it's a either-or tank.. Either you have an amazing game with 3k+ damage, tracking assist etc. or you get 0 dmg and an early exit to the garage.. The skill level on the tank is pretty high imo.
Got a 2 mark on it and gave up on the 3 mark...I have to say that French 100mm SA47 thats on literally almost every single t7-9 French tank, prem or tech tree, is one of the most INFURIATING guns Ive ever used because of its shit gun handling on pretty much every tank its on...
