'Quality/Skilled' Immigration is a REALLY HEALTHY thing for countries especially ours with so much space. Pauline summed it up perfectly. Unless we PLAN and BUILD infrastructure to cater for Immigration there's no point because it puts all the pressure on the citizen and new immigrants and the government harms both (causing division which is exactly what they want - Aussies to blame immigrants instead of both sides of government wasting our money all the time on NON Australian industry or sectors.

I think One Nation are a bit economically naive - their understanding of the significant positive impact of private investment in the banking sector for example strikes me as both naive and idealistic in that they significantly under-estimate what that system achieves in terms of securing people's retirement independent of Government hand-outs, for example. Outside of economics though, I tend to agree with 100% of their policies.
@@jonathanparle8429 You may be right on that point however I think their real world business experience would enable them to critically analyse Treasury advice , and then make far better economic decisions than those being made by our current Government.

At this point in time, Australia should only be allowing immigration, from people that have the skills that Australia is in need of, and nobody else need apply.
At 63yrs old and working very physical jobs for at least 40 of those, my body is worn out. I'm not disabled but am just full of 'old people pain'. Because we have sooo goddamn many (let me call them extra people), now on government support, my country can no longer afford aged pensions to help with people like myself who have spent their entire lives working hard (and I'm not talking office jobs). When I was 50, I had 4yrs to go before I could retire, when I turned 54, I had 8yrs before I could retire. At 62, I had 3yrs to go before I could retire. At 63, I have another 4yrs to go... because the politicians decided to make it so. Why? because they can't afford to use some of the 40+ years of paying high taxes to help us oldies take a breath. Yet. We keep bringing in more and more people to the point where far too many of struggle to find a place to live
But of course Politicians only have to "work" ( serve ) 8 years before they can access a Government Politicians pension, and they still get it even if they work a highly paid full time job. "One rule for thee, another for me" applies.
Really? You know he will? When has he backflipped before? All I have seen of him in politics is do a pretty good job in the portfolios he's had. You all need to give him a chance because One Nation will never get enough vote to govern, and that's just being realistic.
@@paythepiper6283 totally agree, he was a man of his word as minister under the Turnbull-Morrison governments when he was strong on borders and has never broken a promise. I believe he will be a great PM, it’s something that even Pauline herself admitted in 2020.

Yes, my ancestors were free settlers, and pioneers they built this country into what it is today... a modern-day Western metropolis with all the Western technology and inventions that go with it.They built it for us like-minded ancestors and defended it through 2 world wars. We were never asked if we wanted immigration into our community, and it could be argued that all the subsequent immigration since then is un constitutional and illegal. This can be rectified.

Cut migration by 100% until every Australian has affordable housing, review all mining ‘deals’ and the corruption that goes with them. Cut back room deals from all politicians. We should be all living in luxury on our GDP alone yet successive governments for decades have kept this country scrounging for a dollar year after year. Enough is enough

Mass immigration from one or two particular countries is not ok. Diversity including white immigrants. Realestate should be at best reciprocal so if I cannot own land or a business in China, Indonesia or Singapore then the same rules should apply in Australia.
