A string of overdoses in the Austin area now has local law enforcement on high alert. KSAT reporter John Paul Barajas spoke with Bexar County Sheriff Javier Salazar about the issue.

Drugs don't come thru the open part of the border every migrant asking for asylum is searched. The drugs pass right by BPD officers at the checkpoints. The Xenophobic talking points aren't the source.
