I remember going to Burger King and ordering a Junior Meal just to get that freaking pink Galux toy bey and a Mariah figure. Even though it was cheap trashy plastic, it still gave me so much joy because it was an „original“ galux loool
@@nizumablader Ya about that, it is a bit strange that Burger King would pick Mariah/Mao over Max for their original promotion for Beyblade back in the day. Heck on Burger King's kids activity magazine, Burger King Adventures, issue on Beyblade. They would heavily promote her alongside the core group, like not only was she featured on the front cover of that particular issue alongside Tyson/Takao but also on the Beyblade Bios section where they ask "How well do you know the Beyblade gang?", one of them was Mariah's line "My electric pink hair matches my attitude - full of energy!". It's this kind of stuff that makes you wonder what if she was a main character alongside the main boys? Especially that even with the Bakuten Shoot Beyblade: Rising manga by Takao Aoki actually has her with the group in some chapters. What do you think?
Fun fact, the brand tt hongli, which is a brand that released old gen fakes, actually released galux. However, its like 90 dollarydoos, for a fake beyblade.
Actually, no, Kai wasn't actually Russian by blood. Not 100% anyways. He was raised in Russia. Being raised in a country doesn't make you a native of the country. Kai's last name is Hiwatari (which is a Japanese surname) in both Japanese and English. If he was actually Russian, he would have a Russian name in the local dubs at least, like Tala (who was called Yuriy in Japanese). He doesn't. Kai is canonically Japanese raised as a Russian. Just to clarify the confusion. If anything, Kai is like Max where he is mostly or half Japanese. So in Kai's case, he would be half or mostly Japanese and half or partly Russian. *Edit:* Just realized that you have actually already acknowledged that Kai does in fact have Japanese heritage. My bad.
Sad we didn’t get a real one. Buuuut praise god and 3D printers for this blessing. That has always been my favorite plastic bey. I’ve always liked pink (which was the first of many signs to my friends and family that I would become somewhat of a flamboyant individual) and this bey is no exception!
Its awesome how there are people like bench blade who make these anime accurate and anime exclusive beys real since they look very high quality and accurate 😎👌🔥
I think I actually had a Gallux bit-beast, I found it on the floor and it was slightly faded, but I could clearly make out the Gallux design. Sadly it, along with most of my Plastic gen Bey's got sold on.
i would like you to do a similar combo to galux like the AR and sub AR from galeon and the other parts from the beyblade card and then battle it against the custom made one
Sorry it took me so long to watch this. Gotta say I had a crush on Mariah as a teen lol. Ray is my favorite character so if he wasn’t allowed to join I’d be sad. White Tigers were my favorite alt team. That Galux looks legit. Didn’t know beyblade manga had a sequel. I have all the original books. Can you link me to sequel on a PM sometime? Great video. Lastly what is stuffed in the stadium walls to make it have anime clips? How did you do that? Cool aesthetic.
It looks very well made and accurate. The price is justified, but will probably pass (I always feel super weird paying $60+ for any singular toy). I'm content with the 3D resin printed version i made with my own stickers as a display piece.
Sometimes it’s better to paint some Beys when they aren’t affordable or better yet when you have enthusiast that can recreate these Beys with stickers as well 🙌
Im hoping that TT does make an X Galux bey, or any bey that they didnt make in particular (why is it always the cat girl beys that they dont make irl). As for the "Can Rei join the japanese team" question, im pretty sure the reason he can join the team in the first place is because of the Chairman.
2nd comment lol I should have thought of this before I finished posting the 1st one--it's really cool that you're promoting etsy shops and independent crafters. Do you know of any crafters who sell replacement sticker sheets for plastic gen? little me hated putting stickers on things (because with playtime they'd get all torn and ratty and I didn't like that for my toys) so none of my beys have stickers. I'd absolutely toss someone a few bucks for a pack of replacement stickers to get my collection looking more anime-like.
1:45 that line wasn't in the JP ver so funny story in my first watching that EP was the last one I watched in English cuz the dub was so awful in my opinion so when I watched that part again in JP I said wtf am I missing something I rewinded and rewinded until I knew that funny line isn't in the jp ver
i think i saw somewhere that the missing girls from plastic gen are getting commemorative releases during present day as collectors editions (for clarification it was a picture like a poster of merch at a convention or a mall in japan and like there were what looked to be box of galux alongside 2 others i forgot which ones) i could be wrong tho
Honestly it’s kinda sad that not a lot of female bladers actually had beys irl the ones who didn’t were miriah Emily and Mariam like these are all Dan favorites and they got the short end of the stick while we didn’t get irl beys for female bladers in metal fight and actually have one as a protag in x now it still kinda sucks galax try gator and Shark rash didn’t get made into actual beys but on the topic of ray I don’t think you have to native to that country to join that team look in metal fight kyoya wasn’t African yet he became the leader of team wild fang and shu during god/evolution he was Japanese and yet was able to compete on the raging bulls
Why is Mr. Dickenson in charge of the Japanese team? Is he Japanese? I doubt it, though I've never read any Beyblade manga. I don't think nationality really matters much in this world, when it comes to team composition.
I'm rewatching the original for the first time in years and the whole world tournament set-up makes no sense as to how you quailfy for the finals or where the teams come from
