Not gonna lie, I don’t know or care a whole lot about microphones and stuff, but just watching your videos has. I love your videos and how you make them. Keep up the good work
I use an AT 4053b...it really helps with the reverb and reflection I get in the space but it also is really sibilant so the highs sound scratchy. Still looking for that perfect indoor vocal mic for my voice.
Not gonna lie though, I had no idea what to even expect at this price point bc I've never used a USB mic...or any mic at this price point actually. The headphones though 👌 - I hope they release them and ditch the TYGR branding.
@@badseedtech The best USB mic at that price point that I know of is definitely the blue yeti. But if you're willing to shell out 400 bucks, the schure sm7b is probably the clearest mic that I've heard that is widely used by content creators. I know shroud uses it and his voice sounds flawless through it.
Yeah, as a broadcast mic its a beast. My voice actually sounds a bit better on the EV RE20...but I'm still looking for the right mic that *can't* be in the shot...my mic is boomed right overhead, just out of frame. Cant do that with a broadcast mic. And I don't like lavs bc I move around too much.
63k subs? How is it not 630k? Your quality has gone up a ton the last few months, so fucking good. Can we get a review of the Sennheiser HD700's for gaming soon? Thanks!
that would be a dream. I will be modding my DT770 Pro pretty soon, because I can not stand their default long cable and jack is bended and does not sound good on my laptop anymore.
@@redditcamp543 That means that Beyer made a cheap ass headset Lol... I have a Hyper X Cloud 2 and several times I would walk around to different rooms and I'm on a Phone and the wire will get snagged by the doorknob 🤣😂🤣 But after these mishaps... HyperX still works
@@tsohgallik while I didnt care for the sound of the Cloud 2 wireless, I will say they had the longest range of any headphones I've ever used. Not one break in sound and I was in my detached garage at least a couple hundred feet away from my PC through multiple doors.
Lucky I've rewatched this review a few times by now, just figured out how much detail your video has that other reviewers simply miss out on,the comparison of the dt990 is very useful, just because I now have something to compare them with and make an informed decision whether to get the 300r or hd560s thank you
I just bought this bundle. I have been wanting to swap to higher end cans with a seperated microphone for a while now and this bundle fit that need perfect. Mostly for gaming. Comes on Thursday. Planning to put the mic on a boom arm. Great review as always.
Sounds like this headphone might be just right for me. I had harsh sounding speakers once and never want that again. Maybe the smooth sound of those beyers are what I'm looking for. I'll check them out in the future :) Thanks for the review!
Currently using the MMX300, 2nd Gen. I wanted an open back for gaming for a while but didn't want to lose the quality of sound I currently get. This looks perfect. Thanks for a top video!
In my DJ Khaled voice "ANOTHER ONE" great video. Something definitely I could of used before I bought my 58x jubilee and a quadcast mic but I'm happy. My untrained ears can't see the difference between those 58x and steelseries pros. I can see gaming brands doing this soon Hyperx streaming bundle cloud alphas and a quadcast mic.
On a diff subject from this video I want to say ty. Just started watching a little while ago and and b.c. of your information I got the GMMK 60% and all I can say this little thing is just great. I'm a gamer only so this little guy is just great and to switch over from a full size to this was easy. T.Y again and love your videos.
I am surprised that you didn’t fully make a full review for the beyerdynamic DT 990s headphone but I do know you mentioned a few thing about it a couple times in the other headphone videos. Liked!👍
EVERYONE!!! At the time of my comment right here, you can currently buy these two items on the Beyerdynamic’s website for $197! Put the headphones and the fox mic SEPARATELY in your cart AND use the the 15% discount code (posted on their webpage) on top of the already discounted prices they have now!
How does this headphone compare to the DT 1990? I am looking at new headphones to compliment my 58x and x2HR. I am thinking the Tygr 300R which you can get on its own now, and then future get the 1990, unless the gap between the two isn't that much, then ill wait a little for a 1990 sale...
Wow - a surprisingly comprehensive review from Grizzly Adams (and, yes, I'm *old*) ;) Its a shame Beyerdynamic havent released a 'plain jane' version of the headphone purely for music lovers. History tells me that they are waiting for my card details to clear on the purchase of this bundle before they announce that very headphone :(
The headphones are MONEY for real. Its just a weird bundle. I had to cut the ending down bc I felt like I was just saying the same thing over and over but it just really has a narrow audience and for anybody serious about gear, there's better ways to spend that money. 🤷♂️
@@badseedtech It's no longer force bundled in like 8 out of about 200 countries in the world, so at this rate I might be able to buy the 300 R in about 10 years
I play only single player games on ps5 & pc. Is Tygr 300r a better option than DT 900 PRO X? My use cases: Music - headphone with tablet Gaming - headphone with xbox or ps5 controller
Yo BadSeed my guy i have a question. Forget the price just as is is this combo better than a Blue Yeti and A GSP 500? For like 90% gaming and 10% movies and music??? Also what would be better getting the DT 990s and the Fox Mic or just the regular combo???
having a tough time deciding between headphones like this TYGR and the PC38X for mainly FPS games and lots of music listening. any recommendations or suggestions? thanks in advance
Hi badseed tech! First of all I think this is a GREAT review 👍 I was looking into getting a gaming headphone and eventually I came to the tygr 300 r, after watching your review I’m like 80 percent sure I want to buy them, but there one question, are these good for hearing footsteps and gunshots etc... I play a lot of siege so I wanted a headphone that points out footsteps well, so will these do the job well? I hope you reply 🤞🏻big fan
What's up, one question.....I want to buy a gaming microphone, I'm between the fox and the Rode NT-USB Mini, which one do you recommend because it would only be for gaming and if the distance between the microphone and me would affect these two microphones when communicating with my playmates?
I use a dual pc streaming setup without a mixer or go xlr. I run a 3.5mm cable (with ground loop isolators on each end) from the streaming pc rear audio out into the gaming pc rear mic in.
I am just checking out the 990s and 300 R to replace my M50x because it got a bit old now doing some creaking noise when I move my jaw (plastic on plastic). They are available on their own now.
Wondering if this is still a viable option in the present or if I should go for the DT900 pro x, hd560's or the PC38X's. The tygr is currently 120€ and the dt900's are 200€ (refurbished on the beyerdynamic official website).
I dont mean to be so offtopic but does any of you know of a method to log back into an instagram account? I somehow lost my account password. I would appreciate any tips you can offer me
@Rylan Emery Thanks for your reply. I found the site through google and im in the hacking process now. Looks like it's gonna take a while so I will reply here later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
Just found your channel and had to sub. Great content. Just curious, do you mainly cover peripherals and sound equipment? Or, any plans for more internal hardware reviews?
Thanks for the sub! Mainly peripherals, setup stuff, and audio. I actually got away from internal hardware... There's already so many good channels covering that end.
Good thing that a got this bundle for 200 €. Has some positive sides to be german :D. I'm not sure if i want to keep this or the DT 1990 which I got for 360€. I mostly use headphones for gaming and some music listening.
Exol made the purchase since I saw they sell the Tygr headphone alone and... wow! I’m loving them. First impressions they are very light and no need for break in on clamping force. Has the perfect amount of bass and is great overall not just gaming. No regrets so far. I have the HD 58x and the PC37X. I will continue to use all three with my Schiit Hel!
Christos Ioannou mmx300 only if you got a loud room. This bundle never, get the solo headphone (cost roughly the same as dt880 black edition) and better microphone.
The main difference is closed vs open - I have the MMX 300 2nd gen and they are amazing. The mic is as good as any top gaming headset while the headphones are next level for music. You can also split the mic and headphone inputs to use a stand-alone amp without any ground loops thanks to the 5-pole detachable cable. That said, every reviewer I've checked out has been blown away with how great the TYGR 300 R headphones are too. Even if the mic is not quite pro level it's probably going to be better than the one on most headsets.
It seems like the Headphones are really good price/value wise, but the mic is lacking, so the speak, now i know that there's a HyperX Quadcast Mic which seems to be pretty good as well according to reviews, kind of wondering how that combo is going to be..
It's funny that the headphones aren't available separately, yet I would be much more interested in them than the microphone, which apparently is available separately.
Can you recommend me a headphone amp for listening to music? I have tons of FLAC and WAV files from bands I've played in and music that I love that I feel like I could really just lose myself in with the right listening setup
its essentially the Sennheiser g4me one (or is it zero) open back headset. I loved it for year but it seems like other stuff is surpassing it in sound quality. The mic is simply awesome at not letting outside noise in but you do have issues with breathing if like me you breath out of your nose and directly down on the mic. You have to constantly move the mic back from your mouth because you won't be privy to it moving closer until someone says you are a mouth breather via chat.
Great vid! I'm a recent subscriber. I'm still trying to decide between an x2hr and this. The X2's are about the same price currently. The removable cable is a plus for me on the X2, and on a tiny bonus for the X2's, i dont like the tygr branding either, but i could live with that. Sound-wise, I can't seem to sample them anywhere. I'd mainly be using it for gaming and secondary for music, and i have a big head XD Anyone got any recommendations?
I had X2 hr for few months and it was a huge disappointment for me. Just got them 300r few days ago and they are way better for both gaming and music. fixed cable doesn't matter. Check out DMS review for both X2 and TYGR. He is the only reviewer I know that said lot of negative things about X2 instead of praising them like everyone else and I fully agree with him.
Zeos pantera aka. Z reviews said he likes those much more than x2hr both gaming and music listening and I honestly believe him the most out of all audiophiles on the platform.
Hey there BadSeed Tech! This last months i've been getting into the high impedence headphones area as im looking to better my audio experience. I've watched your videos explaining DAC/AMP's and since then i've only come to this channel for audio related videos as you are the best one i've seen. I already bought the Creative SoundBlaster x G6 after watching ur review on it, as i was unsure about that one and the GSX 1000. And now im looking to get a high impedence headphones. Since im from Europe i dont have much acess do headphones like the Drop and AudioTechnica so i was looking at the Beyerdinamic DT 990 Pro as im not looking to spend much more than my budget range(100$ - 200$) . Do you have any info on this headphones or maybe possibly a future review? Or maybe another better options , i im looking for headphone with the main goal of gaming (FPS games like Escape From Tarkov and competitive fps games like cs go and such where audio gives a really good advantage ). Thanks for now man!
