Laura Alexandra, absolutely. That’s one thing that I immediately notice with pro MUAs is that they use a light gentle touch. Their hands look like they float over and barely touch the face.

What i've observed from proffesional make up artist is that they dont overdo their powders and makes all their clients naturally beautiful. That's good! I've seen a lot of make up enthusiast/content creators who are almost like putting flour on their face. Cmon guys natural is beautiful.

Can I just say...I could listen to him talk all day long. What a wealth of knowledge and a pure love for people. I also enjoyed the times you’d see a random hand or brush touch him up...haha! He seems like the type of person you’d love to work with and for because of his philosophies on treating EVERYone with respect regardless of profession, his methods of hard work, attention to detail (except the lips...apparently haha) and encouragement. This was so much fun to watch!!

Wow, been watching for years.... SirJohn is the best guest I’ve seen on your channel! Not just because he is obviously talented but you just get the feeling that he is family without even knowing him. Such a kind soul! Also it’s so refreshing to hear all his tips, you can tell he loves to teach his craft to everyone willing to learn and doesn’t feel the need to keep some of his tips secret. Love love love! And by the way I’m turning 33 this year 😩 and to hear him express how the mature population sometimes gets left out warmed my heart! Yes in my 20’s makeup was fun and made me feel pretty, but now I need to learn how to apply makeup to make me look youthful in my aging ass!

I’ve met Sir John at Diversity in Beauty last year (he was the keynote speaker) and I can totally say that he is TOTALLY an open book and is INSPIRATIONAL. He has such a positive energy that just causes people to hang onto everything he has to say. He is so full of knowledge that he has acquired from Charlotte Tillbury, Pat McGrath, working at the strip club, doing shows, working with artists-EVERYTHING HE HAS LEARNED HE BRINGS TO THE TABLE AND TO WHOEVER WANTS TO LISTEN. He has seriously influenced how I apply my makeup now along with the beauty influencers I watch (like you Desi💕).
