Beyoncé performing at Coachella on April 14, 2018 (Weekend 1). Her first time performing since the 2017 Grammys & giving birth to her twins Sir & Rumi Carter in June 2017.
I know that Beyonce is Queen but can we appreciate those backup dancers because y'allll. those dancers are really best of the best and you can definitely see it here.
Hahaha if I were a billionaire I would probably open a club and making on sundays “ divas “ remix, with perfect light , enormous mirrors and perfect remix songs with flawess transitions between musics wooh such a good idea....
damn good..watched and felt dreams come true if you work really really hard..i miss not about becoming millioneir but what inspire you most..every body has dream ..aka..i have a dream..💪💪💪💪
honestly i’m not the biggest bey fan ever but geez how can you not respect her as an artists? she’s literally fucking amazing and a boss. i mean she commands the stage and the audience! props to the genuinely best female artist in the game rn
Not even gonna front I would have been in tears if I was there, but, this audience seemed more in awe just of her presence and didn’t seem to notice the sheer power and message in her performance. She probably knew the Coachella crowd wouldn’t get it, I think it was really for the rest of us✊🏾🧡
Base Bentham Watching it here is one thing but to be there is quite another; the crowd was literally going APESHIT so the song was hardly ironic to me. 😂 I guess it depends on what part of the audience you happened to be in. I was as close to the front as possible and we were on TEN the entire time. Keep in mind that most of the people up front had to be at the gates around 11am to get that close only to wait in the heat until 1130p for Bey.
Twila Jones well when wearing your natural hair can literally ruin employment opportunities in a country ran by Eurocentric standards of beauty, Beyoncé doing the blond thing is literally assimilation.
Twila Jones Wearing blonde hair isn't considered cultural appropriation due to the fact that blonde hair is a product of genetic mutation and isn't exclusive to white people.
9:15 she sounds so haunted and empowered. She channeled our ancestors that night and still made it look super cool, regardless of who was in the crowd that night. No matter what happens, there is no stopping the Beyoncé train and what she’s for women, what she does for black people✊🏽
HER SHOW PAYS HOMAGE TO -NOT-JUST OUR HERITAGE BUT THE CULTURE!!! MAKES ME APPRECIATE MY BLACKNESS, CREOLE & NATIVE AMERICAN ETHNICITY & THAT I WAS AFFORDED THE OPPORTUNITY TO ATTEND THE BEST HBCU IN THE LAND.... PRAIRIE VIEW A&M UNIVERSITY & MARCH IN THE BADDEST BAND!!! I’M EVEN MORE PROUD TO KNOW I’M A TEXAS BAMA JUST LIKE HER!!! #PVUc/o91 #🇨🇱
I love PVAMU. I did not attend, but I stay on RU-vid watching their march ins and march outs. They are the best. I'm glad you had a wonderful time there.
Madison Harris, Just because she used an all Black College band, doesn't really prove anything. You'll be surprised at how well people can put on a front. I'm not saying that she doesn't love her black people, but again, people definitely know how to put on a front
RyderC Daniels, I'm not being negative, I'm keeping it real! Like I said before, I'm not saying that Bey doesn't love black folks. Clearly, she does...I was mainly speaking in general. Calm down!
beyonce is BLACK, she's shown her blackness since her debut in DC. why do y'all have such a hard time accepting that? bc she's light skin? bc she makes "mainstream" songs? what is it??
Ethicks Howard people saying the crowd was lame af... BITCH I WAS THERE THE CROWD WAS INSANELY PACKED AF PEOPLE COULDNT MOVE OR BREATHE LET ALONE DANCE
This was so powerful. I was graduating from my HBCU when this came out. One of my classmates was in this performance apart of the band. He even wore our schools hoodie in this performance because blue and gold are our schools colors. I remember campus being crazy for weeks and proud we were. She really captured the essence of HBCUs in this performance. From the songs that are played at HBCU parties weaved into hers, to the dancers dancing to the band, greek steps and the divine 9 influence, the black national anthem, the announcer in the beginning, the outfits EVERYTHING!! No one does it better than Bey!!
All she did was sway her body while the backup dancers did the hard work..The best entertainer in the whole world is Michael Jackson, he could do EVERYTHING.
That last 5 Super Bowls were Bruno Mars (2014), Katy Perry (2015), Coldplay with Beyoncé & Bruno Mars (2016), Lady Gaga (2017), & Justin Timberlake (2018)
BEYONCE IS THE UNDISPUTED BEST ENTERTAINER OF HER GENERATION, HANDS DOWN 💯👑🐝🎤😉!$ EVERY GEN HAS 1 💯✌ MICHAEL JACKSON WAS OURS/MY GENERATION 😉 R.I.P. KING 👑🎤💯👍✌
Did anyone else notice the fanfare the band plays at the very very start, while they're dancing up the catwalk, appears again at the very end of the show, towards the end of Love On Top. Nice touch, hats off to the musical director.
BaileysMariner the song that you are hearing is named Do what you wanna do. Originated down deep in NOLA. The song is most famously played to an up tempo beat by the Southern University Marching Band
I'm not a big Bey fan... but this is definitely 1 of her best performances. She took me back to my days at Hampton U. Loved every moment. Definitely felt like halftime at homecoming. Great vid by the way...superb quality. Thanks for sharing. Was looking for something else and came across this. Had to stop and watch this again.
As a black person what makes me happy is seeing black people happy together and i love all the black artists that are always working with the sisters and brothers
I love BEYONCE, but that BAND and those dancers r off the chain. This among other things really make me appreciate being BLACK AND OF THE CHOSEN PPL .LOVE MY BLK BROTHAS AND SISTAS. STAY STRONG AND STAY WOKE MY PPL.
iampapito21 I knew exactly what you shot this on. I thought to myself "this gotta be a iPhone" now I know my iPhone X will kill it at the Beyonce concert.
