Definitely! It’s beautiful. Beyoncé is the definition of a true artist and an entertainer. Productions like this take several hundreds of people including people who built the stage, lights and literally every other part of the design and mechanics, band and dancers, costumers, hair and makeup, camera, people coordinating the entire show to make sure it’s perfect. I think people don’t realize how much it takes to pull of this flawless show. Beyoncé and her whole team is amazing!
she might’ve strategically made the steps match the number of beats before the first word so all she’d have to do is match the bpm when she walks. as you. can see, each time she walks it matches where the beat falls. it wouldn’t be a reach to say she might’ve did this. she’s a calculator.
YARAJUKU it would be reach.. because that would involve changing the number of people on the stairs... In the documentary she said they started with the set, then the music, then the dancing...
That's how bands at predominantly Black high schools and HBCUs do their stand music. That is Black American culture. If you search Battle of the Bands, or Majorette dancers (the style of dance being done here) you'll see what I mean. There's a lot of historical reasons (stemming from the American Reconstruction era (after slavery was emancipated), Jim Crow/segregation and everything surrounding the civil rights era and the post civil rights era (which brought up the Black empowerment movement) that led to Black Americans (Black American Descendants of chattel slavery as opposed to Black from other countries that immigrated over after 1965) having their own unique culture within America, and that's what Bey showcased all throughout this entire performance (though the cultural aspects are lost on people who are not familiar with Black American culture). Even the orchestra and singers have their own personality, including each individual majorette dancer, but all vibe and bring their unique energy and movements into the music (like individual spirits merging into one collective). It's deep, baby.
Beyonce is letting everyone know she is black and proud.✊🏾✊🏾✊🏾 She represented for the black culture and the whole documentary was about black HBCUs and the black culture of excellence. I got so emotional watching her documentary and if your black then you know what's going on.She did not disappoint her people👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
I’m not even a part of the beyhive, and this brought tears to my eyes the first time I saw it. She did Black Culture, HBCUs proud. Coachella could never. They wasn’t ready. I wasn’t ready.
You can tell she thought through absolutely every single detail and that they rehearsed for this countless times; even haters can't deny that she's an incredible performer because of this
She was in a hoodie and shorts for this performance and people were still screaming her name and singing along. It doesn't matter what you wear it's about how you do it and how you command the stage. She is the best at doing that. I love her so much
Gabrielle mullings she is sweetie the queen of the music industry that is fact if your blind and can’t see that’s your own fault she ended everyone Carrer the first black women to preform in Beychella period take a seat down boo or I will make you bitch
BLACK EXCELLENCE. the band, the dancers, the transitions, THE BLACK NATIONAL ANTHEM, the production... BEYONCÉ is the GREATEST. This performance is one for the books.
@@abdulblessinger6659 yes she wanted to work with them i watched it on netflix how say worked days and nights and weeks for this performancing we can proudly say she deserves to have an lucky life idk why ppl hate on her she is my favorite singer and her song brown skinned girl is very beautiful i hope other ppl can really thank her for showing the black community so proudly
@@mscubana Right. Jay and Bey sold their SOULS and they are just billionaires? Meanwhile, Jeff Besos is worth 117 billion but he got there through hard work? Somebody make it make sense.
Seeing her performance made the most searched performance makes me so proud to stan such an amazing and hard working woman. The amount of hate Beyoncé receives and the way she comes back 10x stronger is truly wonderful.
she really came off a world tour, had a high risk pregnancy and delivery filled with complications, then spent 10 months working her ass off to produce the greatest live show in history. unmatched talent, work ethic and creative vision. her commitment to excellence will never be topped. i gag and gasp every single time i watch this masterpiece, not just because of the spectacle, but because of everything she had to do to get to this point. everything she had to sacrifice, everything she had to endure, everything she had to deal with, since the age of FIVE! she truly is destiny's child, and this is destiny fulfilled.
Not only was she preparing for this historical stage, but she also put herself in a very strict diet and consistent workout routines after giving birth to the twins. Every detail matters from day 1 until the last performance and if they failed to catch up, they'd get eliminated 😩
Lucia Katangolo ever heard of Michael Jackson LOL look at his Super Bowl halftime performance or any of his life performances particularly his Dangerous live tour.
@@theentity2886 these kids will never witness. What we did..MJ is king and nobody will ever be able to compare or compete or even breath MJ air..his crown can't be taken..not even by Beyonce
And don't forget that Beyoncé did this in order to give us the richness of the black culture. She really gave us a performance that exudes the aura of being in a HBCU.
Im sorry but Jesus Christ. The energy explodes even through a RU-vid video, filmed on a phone. Can you imagine being there? I now get why people cry at concerts.
As a former marching band member this whole band arrangement gives me chills and makes me miss them old band days... Just getting lit every Friday night always trying to out perform the opposing band... Those were the days
Never really been a fan of Beyoncé’s music besides her lemonade album but god damn, this is fucking amazing. Like this is on another level of performing live. Holy shit is all I can say.
i never really followed Beyoncé that much, always been kind of a punk rock type of gal, but i have such an amazing amount of respect for this woman. it’s clear she loves her work, and puts an incredible amount of work into it. i admire her talent, it practically radiates off of her.
I think having the vision of the overall set is admirable, but honestly, I'm not super impressed by Beyoncé individual performance. The presentation is grand but it's a bit deceptive as she has about at least 50 people on stage with her. None of her dance moves are complicated. Walking up and down a stairs is not a special talent. Sorry, but to me, visually the aesthetic is appealing but there's nothing in this that I'd consider HER to be the greatest live performer in this generation or any other before.
Beyonce gave you all the HBCU experience of a lifetime in one concert...so glad that I attended an HBCU! #HBCULOVE Those 8 counts B and those dancers were giving ya'll was THE FOOL..ya'll ain't ready!
I need you to know why she is the queen right now lol. That's good you see this now..she put 110% in her shows. A true icon..I envy you wish I could have been there ;)
Not only #HBCULOVE but black high schools with resources! I never went to college but i did get the #BANDLIFE experiences in high school! Band and choir were ALWAYS jamming 🤣
Beyonce basically ruined all future Coachellas with this performance. It's like every commencement speaker at Morehouse after the dude paid off the entire class's student loans.
Oooh! Snap! I didn't know there were youngsters living in a fools paradise, just come to Africa and mention Beyonce ,the response will be lukewarm. But mention the king of pop Michael jackson, there is an overwhelming response across all ages.
That intro just blows me away EVERY TIME! Such a perfectionist to give nothing but the best everytime she puts on a show for us. Look at the dancers 💃🏽 nothing but the best and I’d have it no other way!!!! Imagine all the rehearsals and the time spent. She is unmatched and she is the MJ of our time. And I love me some MJ. I’m in no way worshipping her but her talent is unmatched. Period. 💕
Storm Wyatt BITCH HOW YOU GONE SAY SHE THE MICHAEL JACKSON OF OUR TIME THEN SAY HER TALENT IS UNMATCHED 😂😂LIKE TF YOU TALM BOUT BITCH..AND SHE IS NOT NO DAMN MJ PEOPLE AINT GONE NEVER LOOK AT ANOTHER ARTIST LIKE THEY DID WHEN HE WAS HERE ...FIRST OFF SHE HAVE TAHH BREAK ALL HIS RECORDS AND OUT PERFORM HIM ..AMD LETS BE HONEST ..BEYONCE NEEDS LIKE 50 BACK UP DANCERS TOO MAKE HER LOOK GOOD MIKE AINT NEED ALL THAT ..AND TIMES HAVE CHANGED WE GOT STUFF NOW THAT MIKE AINT DID IN HIS PRIME 💁🏽SO YOU REALLY CANT COMPARE ...
Shuneyce Cooper Basically to sum up with what they're trying to say is that MJ was one of the greatest entertainers when he was alive. Beyonce is currently one of the greatest entertainers we have now. They wasn't trying to say that they were the same. Also Beyonce does not need many people to make her look good. With or without background dancers. It's up to her.
They can hate on her all they want, but she is the best female entertainers of this generation. She can take her place along side of Whitney, Mariah and Janet and hold her own!
Chills. Chills all over again. The apparent silence of the crowd during "Lift Every Voice and Sing" was special. We certainly didn't make up a large majority of the audience, but I imagine most of us were up at the front singing along with her.
Honestly, as a guy I can admit that this was an absolutely LEGENDARY performance that will be mentioned for eons to come amongst the greatest live performances ever
The saddest thing is that kids are will always want to defend performances that are so flat yet they were never alive to see other performances that are more lively ,it's a pity that Eminem delivers breathtaking performances with one dj and a hypman and raps for 1 hour ,and will entertain 100,000 people .God when did entertainment go south.
Freedom, Lift Every Voice & Formation just gives me chills...I know our ancestors would be so proud to see Beyoncé uplifting the legacy in such a way. She will always be one of a kind.
thanku. byee honestly same here I never understood why she was such a big deal. I was there and obviously because I’m at Coachella why the fuck wasn’t I gonna see Beyonce when her set ended I was like 🤯😦.
That's why I say, ppl who say she's overrated never have given themselves the time. I forgive them all coz they don't know what the fuck they talking about, thank you again🤷🏽♀️✨
Now THIS.. is what you call PRODUCTION, MULTI- TALENTED, VOCALS, ENTERTAINMENT, AND LEGENDARY!!! She deserves an Emmy and Grammy for this Homecoming performance! Just amazing!
there is just something about the crowd videos that really make it so spectacular, the spectacle that it was. this set design, the dancers, the band, the choreography, the details. is EVEYTHING, she put careers in jeopardy just by sayin "coachella you ready" yassss queen bey. no one can ever top this
the best thing about this video is the people, its clear to see and hear peoples energy, they were explosive... they were going crazyyyyyyyyyy..people's reactions
