There's a reason why beyoncé is named a star vocalist. She is one of the most versatile and technical artist. She is also one of the VERY FEW artist able to sing in mixylodian, Egyptian, indian and Arabian style scales, meaning she can alternate her voice and tone to match the setting of the song, whether that operatic vocals, hard rock, neo-soul, Blues/soul, R&B, funk, etc... Truly a talented QUEEN👑😍❤
That video is awesome hypnotising effortless sexy seductive, the scenery, the colours, sexy beat, the way she interacted with camera, oiled up. She looked absolutely gorgeous. Perfect 👌
I remember when this came out Beyoncé was on fire. People wanted Usher & Beyoncé to date so bad but he was still with Chilli from TLC. You should check out Beyoncé Ft. Sean Paul “Baby Boy” & Usher “Think Of You”
YES, some early Beyonce! I've always felt the secret sauce to her success (along with incredible talent & stage presence) is that something about her makes the listener feel as confident, fierce and unstoppable as her. She's amazing in that way and imo part of the reason she's so beloved. It feels like when she struts, she does it for all of us LOL. "Baby Boy" and "Work It Out" from her debut years, please. Great reaction as usual!!
Thank you for Reacting to one of Beyonce's classics. But i feel like all her songs are legendary 👑💯😍. Could you please react to Spirit+Bigger music video from the The Gift soundtrack album, curated and produced by Queen Beyoncé❤💘💕
React to XO, Spirit, and Bigger by Beyoncé. Those are some of my favorites from her. Spirit and Bigger are from the real-life version of the Lion King and they include her daughter Blue in the music videos. They are twins.
I love the vocals as well! She’s singing in a falsetto which is a very light and airy technique. She actually hardly uses this technique! Great reaction of course.
You should react to Baby Boy. That’s the last single from that era that you haven’t listened to. Fun Fact: All 4 of the singles from this era went Top 10 on the charts. This was the first, hungry, young, radio friendly Bey. Still one of my guilty pleasure to watch. She didn’t come to play.
@@dennis.edich1998 yes it was still the time when they were still doing music videos from their Survivor album, after those were done thats when they did their solos and then reunited for their final album sometime in 05' Deatiny's Fullfilled
South African here... I'm loving the reaction... please react to Beyoncé - Check On It🔥♥️ Goodnight to my people from my side and Morning/Afternoon to Other side🤗
Haha Usher in this. This song has always had an Arabic type of sound to me, then I found out that Beyonce is actually inspired by Arabic music. She said to an interviewer in Dubai: "Ya'll can all sing, you have amazing voices" or something like that. So she does that Middle Eastern style of vocals a lot. ESPECIALLY the beat in "Beautiful Liar" with Shakira. That had a whole Arab section near the end. Love it because I'm half Arab. Hey please react to Blackstreet - Joy
Beyoncé sampled Love to Love You Baby by Donna Summer in this song. You should react to some of Donna's stuff! She's a legend and is considered the "Queen of Disco"
YES you absolutely have to react to Usher on here. U Make Me Wanna, Nice and Slow, My Way, Slow Jam (with Monica) U Remind Me, U Got It Bad, I Don't Know (feat Diddy and Pharrell), Twork It Out, U Don't Have to Call, Can U Help Me Yeah!, Burn, Confessions Part II, My Boo (with Alicia Keys), Caught Up, Throwback, Superstar, Bad Girl Climax, I Care for U, Twisted (feat. Pharrell), Dive, What Happened to U, Lessons for the Lover, Sins of My Father Chains (feat Nas & Bibi Bourelly), No Limit, Crash It's a lot I know. But Usher been making music a loooooong time. Well over 20 years now.
Jake Nava, whose visual work is resemblant of Sophie Muller (a predecessor who has also worked with many artists, including No Doubt, The KIllers & Beyonce) director of this video is a long time collaborator of Beyonce's, even recently as "Spirit", but during the early 2000s he also directed "Crazy In Love", "Beautiful Liar" & "Baby Boy" (you think "Naughty Boy" was amazing, be ready for your jaw to drop at this one and it's referenced with a bit of tongue in cheek at the end of the music video for "Deja Vu"). The dance Beyonce does with Usher is also a reference to classic film choreography (Beyonce loves this these styles, see "Get Me Bodied" which is uses choreography from Bob Fosse on "Sweet Charity" & "Single Ladies" homaging Gwen Verdon & Bob Fosse's choreography and "Countdown" a glorious mashup mostly of 50s & 60s style plus references to other actresses/dancers like Josephine Baker & Audrey Hepburn) from "The Band Wagon" with Fred Astaire & Cyd Charisse (a great female dancer whose trademark was her use of her exceptionally long legs, they went on for days). The martini glass at the end is a definite homage to burlesque dancers (you want to feel some kind of way, welp this is one of those dance styles that'll do it), in particular Dita Von Teese (fun fact, her real name is Heather Sweet) who is still to this day doing incredible performances. This happens to be one of my favorite songs by Beyonce, particularly because she changes up from her normal style of belting which I like, to a delicate softer tone that uses clever interpolation of the chorus from "Love To Love you Baby" by Donna Summer ("The Last Dance", "I Feel Love", "On The Radio", "Bad Girls", "She Works Hard For The Money", "State Of Independence" ) another singer you should check out, as she falls within the same sphere of singers as Diana Ross, both of whom I know Beyonce & Michael Jackson greatly admired. In fact I think it would be a great idea to take a look at other 70s era singers, like Gloria Gaynor ("I Will Survive"), Minnie Riperton ("Loving You"beautiful melodic voice, hitting the whistle notes way before Whitney Houston & Mariah Carey & also happens to be Maya Rudolph's mama, who we all know can sing & does a dead on impression of Beyonce, as an SNL alumni), Roberta Flack ("Killing Me Softly",which Lauryn HIll remade with The Fugees) , Chaka Khan (iconing, had some fantastic 70s era songs remade by other talented others artists like ""Sweet Thing" - covered by Mary J. Blige, "You('ve) Got The Love" - covered seperately by Candi Stanton & Florence+The Machine, & "I'm Every Woman" - covered by Whitney Houston ). All of them are big influences of Beyonce & and some of her other works.
You should react to Donna Summer’s song “Love to Love You Baby” which is where Bey got that lyric from...one of Donna’s live performances because I don’t think there’s a video. And also “Nasty Girl” by Vanity 6, “Hands Tied” and “Long as I Live” which are both more recent songs by Toni Braxton, and “Son of a Gun” by Janet Jackson
I agree with people saying you should watch Beyonce's Homecoming special! All of it is great, but if you want to see vocally impressive Beyonce live watch the "I Care" performance from Homecoming. ALL of it is amazing though. You'd LOVE it. Lots of strut walking btw LOL
I somehow picture u in the red dress and fur, when u said few times about loving her strutt 😂 I pictured u wearing outfit strutting in the video scene with your curly hair channelling your inner Beyoncé 🤣
I haven't watched that video in a minute. Definitely reflects the song. If you haven't already, check out Normani, Motivation. It gives me all the throwback feels even though it's recent.
I going back and watch old music videos and see how the artist has changed, in Beyoncé earlier solo songs she had a very youthful voice as she got old let it became more husky
LOL. I'm British, I don't know American English dialects/slang that well, although I definitely understood what you meant. However, I still laughed out loud when you talked about how sexy this is and then you said, "I was feeling myself to this". That has a rather different meaning for non-Americans than the one you intended!
Yeah now you gotta react to Ushers live performance of “Bad Girl” Beyonce makes an appearance. And what an appearance it was 😩🙌🏾 And this song was off her debut solo album. She came out swinging for real.
I almost forgot about this song..lol yess it brought me back. You should react to her song "Baby boy" feat Sean Paul. And Donnell Jones "U know what's up"
You really have to react to more of her live performances, because this song live, especially with the Donna Summer break is 🔥🔥🔥 Also, she performed with Usher on his live version of Bad Girl. Usher video recommendations are: Can You Get With It (First Single), Many Ways, You Make Me Wanna and Nice and Slow
This pays homage to Donna Summers song "Love to Love You Baby." You should listen to that in your spare time. A fun song you should check out is "Grown Woman" by Beyonce...and "Check on It." Those are both fun!
Alright bro, if you want early Beyonce next has definitely gotta be Baby Boy!! Haha and if ya want some early Bey vocals then Dangerously in Love Live at the Grammys (no regular music video to that song lol)
