maybe during her solo career she isn't known as a writer, but she wrote PLENTY of Destinys Child songs as well as her first album. I'm not saying she wrote it ALL on her own, just that she had the most writing input & effort.

But secondly, when people say they miss the old Bey, it's the Bey that used to sing more. She raps so much now and doesn't use her voice--one of the best vocalists of her generation and then some--often at all. It leaves us wanting more.
