I remember hearing this song on 95.5 Smooth Jazz radio station like back in 2005. I instantly fell in love with it. Beyonce's voice on this classic was so fresh and beautiful. I had forgotten about it until tonight. I was searching for instrumentals to sing over and I remembered this song.💙💙

Being a singer myself and someone that sings covers of original songs often, it's a bit irritating when someone says "Oh its nothing like the original" or "So and so did it better". The whole point of a cover is just that - A COVER. It's a cover of an original song not always intended to sound exactly like the original which, lets face it, it's never going to. It's a cover version of an original song in the covering singer's own style and voice. That is all it is intended to be. I wish more people understood this and just enjoyed a cover of a great song for what it's meant to be, which again, just a cover. With that being said I absolutely love this cover by Beyonce! xoxo
