I actually do have VatSim installed, took the course, and passed, with flying colours... well, after having failed the first time. LOL. But that's sort of put me off to trying a live flight on VatSim for a bit. Beyond ATC is definitely a product who's time has finally come. Looking forward to trying it. Now, to figure out how to just fly a pattern in BeyondATC. Guess I'll have to file a flight plan for even that. LOL Thanks for the video. :)

@@ThomasGrillo yea hopefully they improve VFR further with the program. They just added traffic integration the other day and it seems very good. I’ll hopefully be able to make some more videos soon. Best of luck with your flying and thanks for watching. 👍

I love the sense of having a first officer. Especially for flying more complex aircraft like the CRJ where the workload is much higher. I really appreciate you taking the time to watch and comment. Have a good day.

Good experience for me from KPSP to KSAN, vectors to final not optimal, probably human like. I exited left on RWY 27 just before tower told me to exit right. Got the appropriate taxi instructions to transient, but none of my requests to cross 27 were understood

Awesome and appreciate you watching. Yea it does seem to always want to use vectors at KSAN. I don’t think normally ATC tells you to exit in a direction I think the pilot makes that call in real life. Maybe I’m wrong. Certainly has bugs but for $30 it beats the hell out of the default ATC. I know you say your unsponsored, but I definitely gotta think you edited out some of the bugs. I've had plenty. But I'm still happy with the program. They seem to be updating very often. As rushed to market as it is, at least they make it clear it's early access 😉

I had a bunch of bugs when flying to smaller airports. It seems like the larger more popular airports work better. I livestream this game on Sunday mornings.The bugs will be shown. The reason I choose this flight is that it is one of the routes that seems to work well. I appreciate you watching. I hope someday I can get sponsored by some devs lol. But yea this flight works well. If you want it I could get the sim brief plan and leave a link here. I’m at work now so I could do it when I get home.

Thanks. I'm sure I could figure out the route. But the bugs I was dealing with were more related to the software itself. Like after one update, my controllers wouldn't trigger the voice although I could assign them in the app. Then after another, the program kept becoming unresponsive and I'd have to pause the flight, kill it through the task manager and run it again. But like I said before, I was warned ahead of time 😋

Well now…hmm, no VFR and sounds like you have to fly control tower to control tower. Limits where you can fly. Great info, thank you for that. I think I’m going to wait to purchase. I fly Pilotedge and Vatsim alot so I’m going to stay with it.

Yea I think waiting is probably the best approach. I should try Vatsim here soon. I’m studying IFR procedures a bit the. I’ll probably give it a go. The program just updated and now isn’t working so it’s certainly very very early access

Very nice demo of Beyond ATC. This is a great training tool for Vatsim and talking to real world ATC. Your video is very clear and smooth. What screen recording software are you using?

I was using Streamlabs Desktop to record. It allows tons of customization for recording. Then CapCut to edit. I am planning some livestreams soon using beyond ATC. Thank you for watching and the kind words. Have a good one.

Tried a flight from KATL to KMEM with a PMDG 737, never got my microphone to work, tried 2 seperate microphones, apparently there's a bug with testing the mikes according to a discord post. , other than that it's ok, nothing world changing, My approach into Memphis was ALL gooned up and had to just disregard everything and fly it in myself. I knew what I was getting into with the early release though I'm sure it'll get better....

I also had mic issues. I had to go into the sound control panel and make sure my mic was set as the default communication device. I think as a training aid for new players it will be incredible. I have done flight sim on and off for years but with this I feel I’m getting closer to being ready for Vatsim. Definitely buggy certain airports seem like they don’t work at all for the approach. How well does it work on a GA flight from say, a towered airport to a non-towered airport on an IFR flight?

I haven’t tested that yet… Looks like you just gave me my next video idea lol. Yea I wonder if it will hand you off to the airports local frequency? That’s a very good question. If I get time this evening I’ll fire up the Sim and find out.

Welp I have an unfortunate response. Just tried it out and it can’t pull the active runways for the uncontrolled airport and cancelled the flight plan asking you to load a new plan 😕So as of now no it can’t handle transition to uncontrolled airspace.

With the premium it sounds much much better. A lot of different dialects and every controller sounds different. I am currently flying a campaign and I’m in the Caribbean and it’s really good

The premium voices are a bit better. The idea is its way better than using the default atc that you can not voice control. I know the developers put a lot of time into this program I've been monitoring their discord for a long time. They cant make a living off of free so I understand the $30. Once its finished you still wont pay any more. its a one time purchase so I think its fair. The have released multiple updates per day to the software. As a software dev myself I can appreciate the work they are doing.
