I actually don't mind they have wind down at the bottom of the tech tree since it was a bit OP. If they didn't, there would be no use for the other generators that use resources like shroom, sprite and void generators. Now you can just make a bunch of solar arrays and use batteries to store the energy if you want to go resourceless. I just finished my hard playthrough and the beginning was a bit tedious, but I still liked it a lot. Not sure if you did end up playing through again, but it is kind of a bummer you missed all the raids since you played a pretty early build. I typically steer clear of the early access for reasons like that.

true, i guess my brain couldnt handle all the weird nerfs and increased tedium for less reward. Yeah, the early access was probably a mistake since they ended rebalancing the game around not geting the early access buildings. Hmm, the raids are definetly fun and give you free stuff. I really wish they balanced the game better, it would have been a favourite of mine

resource management and crafting is just insanely annoying in this game. especially the storages, which are waaaay too small.

Check my early access videos for this, it was not that tidious and you could setup a base in the first hour. Now they moved everything aroung and put wind power at the bottom with special wind fields required. I can play and finish on max difficulty but the pace of the game is insane, you need a spreadsheet before you unpause the game😁😁

no problem, sadly they just moved technologies around so you get basic systems much later into the game:( and made surviving harder in the begining, there is no difficulty curve now
