In this video, I take a look at Capture One’s “Beyond Film” style pack and how it looks on regular photos. Normally, when styles or presets are advertised, they use perfect, expensively shot images as samples, but I wanted to demonstrate how these look on “regular person photos”.

With a bunch of average shots by an average Joe, what would you recommend as a starting point ? For better quick results, should Auto ajustements include - in addition to auto exposure - contrast and brightness, HDR and/or levels ?

I had the same question. I notice the shots from an x-pro camera are in DNG format which puzzles me. It would be interesting to know what the starting point is. Thanks.

nice overview, thank you. I know this is a year old vid now but I'm trying to find info on how these beyond film packs compare to the previous film packs. I'm considering upgrading to these. I was put off by the Latitude ones which were unusable (and since removed from sale by Phase One).
