Hey Cam, amazing stuff! Would you consider recreating these for Lightroom? I’d buy without hesitation. Your work is amazing and I am grateful for you taking the time to make videos.

Bless you bro! I've been working on my own since you talked with Tyler about this, trying to work out my own curves for film look. Idk why it took me a year to find this video tho 😂 just bought the curves, excited to use them to learn what makes a pleasing image from curves, and how to develop my own as well.

Love how you explain color and tones and the way you express your knowledge is just super chill and straight to the point, I really enjoy that! One note: I went to the preset page and in the last sentence of the text below it, it says FRONT there instead of FROM there. Thought I'd give you a heads up!

So sick - I've been trying to get that filmic look using non-curve tactics, but you totally nailed it with this insight. I just bought your super reasonably-priced preset pack, and really appreciate it! I agree with you on the bread and butter thing in regards to presets. Although, that's only a fraction of your bread and butter. You have the eye and the experience; no amount of presets will make a shitty photo good. Amazing videos, and phenomenal photography

Cam! This is a very similar concept to the curve that the lightroom "vintage instant" profile gives you although it requires a lot of adjustments. I can never exactly pinpoint why, but it definitely does something with the highlights that just nails the film look. Watching this I can see that it's the highlight roll-off and the brightness while retaining contrast that really is what I'm looking for. Albeit, the lightroom profile by itself doesn't do close to as good of a job as your presets as vintage instant clips highlights way too much instead of preserving the dynamic range there. But it's a nice knockoff film look that cuts the digital edge. Do you, by chance, make them for lightroom? Also super cool of you to release these for all of us plebes to ride on the coattails of your genius! lol so thank you for that!

Now you KNOW Lil Homie( Im from LA) us less evolved folks need that Lightroom version...lol..

I got one of your curve presets, and switched my main workflow to C1. I used your presets on some of my old images, a few adjustments here and there and it looks incredible. Thanks for getting me started on the filmic look, love it!

love this. Will these work for Lightroom? Steps: Shoot overexposed, Reduce brightness, Apply film curve, move shadows towards blue, move highlights towards orange, make final tweaks.

Hi Cam! Thanks for such a simple yet detailed video! Quick question have you've ever tried scanning you own film? As an avid film shooter myself, scanning film itself is a creative process so the lab is determining the main look of the film. Definitely not a problem if you love the look of it already but was just wondering what you think about it 😊 Love the videos btw! You're an inspiration!

Will you release these for Lightroom too?

I would really love to jump over to c1 but when I use it, my photos are blurred in the preview. Way different to how the screen works with lightroom. I hope you have words for this issue.

Good one, But I have so many presets in Capture one I do not think I could even install anymore...LOL Congrats I end up just do everything manually myself now as every image is different.

Films only half the job the next step is the paper and printing it :)
