This is a perfect remaster. There are obvious improvements but they are subtle. Which keeps the old feel but also adds meaningful detail. More remasters should be like this

Anyone know if there’s a classic graphics mode? Something about the new shading and high poly models looks a little odd to me. Maybe blame it on nostalgia, but I prefer the more cel shaded look of the original.

cartoon graphics made the atmosphere in this game, the second part is different graphics, more realistic, it's something completely different - it won't have the same atmosphere. The remaster is very good, although more could have been done. The price is acceptable.

Right - adding more textures to a "cartoon" can disrupt the whole stylized presentation that made it immersive to begin with.

This game is from a time back when Ubisoft was cool. It’s a gem with a lot of personality, you won’t regret it (and it’s just 20 bucks).

This new version is full of drm for a single player game and very expensive. They didn't do a special prize for who have the original game on Steam.
