When I went to college for the first time, my parents ghosted me. I went home for Thanksgiving, knocked on the door, and some stranger I'd never met answered the door. I didn't see them for 17 years. Some people don't see family as important. Now these kids are younger, but I think the ghosting mentality is just who some people are.

Basically he said that she divorced him, and he is denying ghosting anyone and that this is a matter for the lawyers. Not sure what's up, but just wanted to share since you haven't found anything about his response. P.S. the interview with Emil Forsberg has since publication been moved behind a paywall.

My dad actually did this, so i understand where forsberg is coming from. He is probably in a really bad head space and struggling to deal with the situation he was in. Thats one persons story in a two person relationship. Emil might not feel that Instagram is the right place to discuss this. As a child of divorce my mothers story dont add up to my dads at all. And from my perspective living through the divorce,both of their stories is really skewed. Also the kids they are to young for Emil to contact without going through his wife, we dont know what she defines as not reaching out enough and or if she decided to ”weaponize” them in this divorce.

Took a couple of years to get over it but i have no anymosity towards my ex. People do what they feel is best for them @ ALL TIMES. Your actions or decisions might be devastating to some but if the end game benefits you better what're you gonna do? I get that they rest of the world may be frowning upon Mr. Forsberg but get the entire story before passing judgement. You never know...in THIS era of human existence he might not have kids of this own & he wants to keep everything quiet. Or maybe she wasn't what he wanted anymore.
