What I like about him is that while he is stupid smart he doesn’t flaunt it or act like he is better than everybody which is something that tends to happen to the smart characters.
Blue Marvel is one of my favorite comic book geniuses. He's primarily written with "Superman" level abilities but prefers to solve issues with his brain, which coincidentally is how Superman himself can sometimes be written when writers remember he's the son of scientists.
Its crazy. They treat Thor with the Odin force like he's still a scrapper with a hammer. Hes the ALL FATHER. He should be extremely extremely powerful now.
@@issacwhittaker3687Blue Marvel is like a fusion of Reed Richards and Thor. That combination of brains and physical abilities makes it highly unlikely Cul Borson would have done to Adam what he did to his nephew.
Adam Brashear, the only guy with enough power to call out the Illuminati on their shenanigans during Time Runs Out. Adam knows what it's like when "powerful people" put it on themselves to tell you what's best for you and for society. He had to go into retirement because of those kinds of people. The absolute legend.
For as much as I like Adam Brashear, I was on the side of the Illuminati during the Time Runs Out storyline. If it was not for the actions of Dr Doom and The Illuminati everything would have been lost.
With Monica introduced. She is Blue marvels love interest so its possible. But theyll maybe have to scale him down as hes insane and we dont have anyone that strong atm
@@gabrielcarrasco8414 we dont have king thor in the mcu yet. Maybe soon but not yet. And Scarlett witch is still new to the far reavhes of her powers. she's strong but compared to this version of Blue marvel. He'd kill her
@@gabrielcarrasco8414 Give the character time to develop. Blue Marvel was introduced back in 2008. He has the potential to become one of the most powerful beings on Marvel's Earth.
I think what makes robs new style better is how happy he sounds. Before you could really tell he was reading off a script, now it feels more like rob is just talking about something he really likes
They'd probably bring him back just to beat him down. Like they did dirty with the Sentry. They made him more powerful than ever and have just used him to lose every time.
@@gtd360 that's not true. U know just how strong he is, arguably more powerful than Sentry. A guy with such power and a moral character has to hold back according to writers. That is why u see him beaten. Same thing has happened to Superman when he has been beaten up by less powerful characters like Shazam when he was holding back. It's like a code for superstrong guys to hold back, even if u are beaten by less powerful characters. Cause they know that if they don't, people might get hurt. That's what happens with B.M. Although sentry might have got a taste of B.M's true power when he knocked sentry in one powerful punch sending him to space
PUT SOME #RESPECT ON THE #BLUEMARVEL a.k.a #Marvelcomics #OPM that's my dude one of the most slept on op characters out there. Get this man more shine needs more shine and a feature film trilogy asap
You were the reason I heard of this character a couple years back. Your series on Blue Marvel was how I was introduced to your channel, before the Black Panther movie had even been announced. Thanks Rob...
You never disappoint Rob. Thank you so much. This video makes me think of the old 1990 Marvel trading cards. The ones with the character stats on the back. 1991 was my favorite year. I still look through them from time to time.
Hey Rob been listening and watching for a while never dropped a comment just wanted to say one of that shows on RU-vid and I need one of those Rob corps rings rings
I remember him mentioning that on one of his videos haha, he went to a comic book store and the clerk said "some RU-vidr" made the comic more popular and people came in buying them up or something along those lines.
@@TheDreadedAssassin yep I tried tonfind it after and it was being resold for hundreds on Amazon at the time....I was like "I'll just re-listen to rob" lol lmao
Yep! I went to my LCS and the clerk didnt know WHO the hell i was talking about but they had all of the issues on stock so i bought them.....only time the RU-vid comic videos have helped me...lmao
Blue Marvel, should logically be number 1, cuz people choose their favorites based on personal preferences, biases and overall iconic image than logic. In a very simple and summarized way, Adam being an intellectual genius himself explains to both Reed and Tony about who, what and how he came to be, and how his powers work and they being among the foremost science experts in the series believed it . Blue Marvel is easily the most complete and most powerful superhero from Earth in Marvel, no questions asked. He doesn't have a broken psyche, he has a family, has children, is very well respected amongst his peers and contemporaries in both science and superhero business, his intellect matches and rivals that of Doom as said by Reed himself, and exceeds that of Reed and Tony when it comes to matter and atomic principles and studies. And to call him 'strongest' will be an understatement, seriously. Imo, the dude might be the most powerful and most efficient energy producer in Marvel, as his powers are based on anti-matter and he has control over it like breathing, hence he proves he is the pinnacle in both quality and quantity of energy manipulation in all of Marvel, just short of cosmic and abstract beings. For summation, anti-matter is the most potent source of energy in the universe , regardless it's in fiction or real life as the energy produced from a fraction of anti-matter is colossal in intensity compared to nuclear fission or fusion. Feats :- - He defeated Anti-Man all by himself who had just left the Sentry wobbled and in shock in a single punch, and that too reluctantly cuz he was his only friend. - He one shotted a pissed off Sentry into space with the Sentry not even realizing what happened whilst he was team busting the rest of the Avengers. - One shot a friggin Beyonder - With just a miniscule fraction of the hint of his power he supercharges Monica Rambeau to Binary levels. And that's not even a power feat but more about how precise and efficient he is at manipulating energy via his anti-matter mastery. - He defeated an alternate version of Hyperion called King Hyperion who himself had slaughtered Thors, Hulks, Herculeses,Sentries and other physically powerful beings of his and other universes. - Cud easily split the moon in half without a thought as stated by the Watcher himself to his face. - He and his team literally changed Galactus from planet-eater to life giver. - He travelled across the most powerful and enigmatic planes of reality in all of Marvel like the place of Beyonders, the White Hot Room of the Phoenix Force, and the place where the One Above All resides, all of that with a sense of curiosity and learning, and didn't lose his mind through those experiences and instead was enlightened even more. The only reason he doesn't come up much, or isn't all that prominent is literally cuz he's black. During one of his earliest superhero exploits when he fought Anti-Man, his face gets exposed and everyone gets to know that he's black, and the President himself reluctantly asks him to retire as the people of the world can't stand seeing a black superhero be so perfect and all powerful, and he being considerate enough to leave it all behind. He's the best possible homage to the Superman we have in Marvel, and is one of my three top most favorite Marvel characters EVER.
I really hope he comes in the MCU. He’s the Superman position that’s been left open by DC. Not to mention he can supplant Captain Marvel. The hard part would be writing stories with him around 😅
If he does ever show up in the MCU I hope they keep his origin story fairly the same. It’s just a decent diverse story that still makes sense and realistic for its time
1 - I love your BM video series (old and new). 2 - This video's style was done in a quasi-Rundown style. This nows has me wanting to rewatch the Onslaught Saga Rundown just so I can hear your "on further consideration, I have chosen to get involved" quote.
@@BozheTsaryaKhrani That part of his story touched a bit too close to home for me. The very same struggles Adam Brashear had earlier in his career as Blue Marvel were struggles men like my father (my father was born around the same time as Blue Marvel) experienced during that same time.
Love Blue Marvel just a live “How to Draw” stream on Marvels RU-vid channel. This mini series and your videos were a huge inspiration for that. Thank you
Probably some hashtagger. Under representation. Im black and I know there is no place for him nor would be fun to watch. He is literally better than Superman in everyone. Power, Morals, Intelligence. Only thing Superman has over Blue Marvel is Strange Visitor: Superman. That Superman story really painted Superman amazingly.
@@DirtCheapFU just throwing this out there, he's not the only powerhouse in the MCU. Carol Danvers Monica Rambeau Hella Thor (recently) WANDA Vision Dormammu The Eternals More that I dont remember of the top of my head As for no place? Dude come ON he's Monica's boyfriend/husband.
@@DirtCheapFU The MCU has Odin Force Thor, Captain Marvel, and the Hulk. Surely the MCU has a place for Blue Marvel. He’ll be there soon. Watch. It will be awesome.
People dont get the context of introducing someone like Blue Marvel. He is already established and is at his peak. They can not tell story without ruining his story. His story is a long, well thought out flashback. It wouldnt even be a Marvel story. But it wouldnt be allowed to not be a Marvel story. He is a guy that is way more powerful, and more intelligent than anyone we've so seen so far and havent seen. He doesnt actually have stories to put him in, just a list of amazing feats. He would have to be downplayed like Superman. Thats the context. He doesnt have enough history/publication to make a movie interesting. Unless its a Documentary on science and space exploration but we already have Neil DeGrasse Tyson. Sir Tyson is a black guy. Bases covered. lol
If you think about it the haters are part of Blue Marvels story ...shamefully thats there role in his story ....haters going to hate!! Let's go MCU let him in!!!
@@lsrq74 Oh wow, that's crazy. The way they kept mentioning Voodoo possibly appearing in the next Doctor Strange, I figured they might go with him and maybe have some sort of love triangle thing in the long run if Brasher was ever written in...
What if Ra's al Ghul got the Ten Rings What if Dr. Fate became the Sorcerer Supreme What if Darkseid got the Cosmic Cube What if Ultron invaded the DC Universe What if Deadpool got the Mask What if Thanos fought the Justice League What if Darkseid fought The Avengers. What if Thanos got the Anti-Life Equation What if Shang-Chi was the Iron Fist What if Superman landed in Asguard What if the Batman Who Laughs invaded the Marvel Universe
Lol all these references to the old style, I've been watching for so so many years, I haven't even noticed a switch! I'm gonna have to watch an old video lol
Exactly I want him done right but Disney decided to under power the Hulk and Thor for a OP Binary made me mad. I know that different writers gave different characters varied power levels in the comics but sheesh.
I thought Blue Marvel was headed there when he became a herald of the most powerful iteration of Galactus ever during the time he was a part of The Ultimates.
@@oluwadamilola6233 Galactus made the entire Ultimates team his heralds when he went up against The First Firmament. This was after Lord Chaos and Master Order nearly killed Conner Simms/Anti-Man.
If you like this video make sure to watch my video I just uploaded about how phase 4 could be acknowledging systemic racism as a whole in the mcu! love from Ohio!
I love Blue Marvel! I often wonder where he is during these massive crossover events. He's a great, complex character and I wish we saw him regularly. Also, I NEED HIM IN THE MARVEL LEGENDS LINE HASBRO!!!!
