Beyond Omega Level: Apocalypse

Beyond Omega levels characters in a nutshell: only limitation is inconsistent writing.

I like how they turned Apocalypse into a necessary evil that saved both human and mutantkind but also tests them too.

So basically, Apokalypse is just a really brutal life coach that beats the shit out of people to see if they can get stronger.

Let's be real: Apocalypse's most impressive power is his jawline.

His main power is ruining people's faith in the X-Men movies.

Apocalypse is my favorite X-men character of all time. I’d like a story arch that pushes his ability to the absolute maximum and conquers the multiverse with complete omnipotence.

I hope I'll see Apocalypse on a big screen. He deserves another chance at the MCU! My favorite villain.

I always feel like Apocalypse is squandered. He's such a great character. They should really do more with him.

With the philosophy of Apocalypse. I feel that he would be a perfect "Herald of Galactus" . Galactus could sense the Celestial energy and strip it from Apocalypse then replace it with the Power Cosmic. Thus Apocalypse willingly would go out culling the weak from the universe for Galactus.

He has the Beyond Omega Level power of being the rocks of the eternal shore. ANYTHING that crashes against him WILL BE broken.

One of the things I like most about Apocalypse is that he very rarely ever actually intends to really destroy anyone. He considers that a waste of potential, given his "survival of the fittest" philosophy. That's why he would choose lesser powered people and enhance them to be his Horsemen, elevating their potential. Despite all of his frequent "villain speeches" about killing the weak, he really believes that ALL mutants have the potential to be the "fittest". He proves this with his monologue when he joined Krakoa. I mean, he's still an arrogant jerk, but he sees himself as a well-intentioned one. 😁 🤣

Also, I don't see him not being a reality-warper as a short coming. There's so many ways to kill those mutants using intellect, strategy, covert tactics and timing. Apocalypse rocks!!

Apocalypse is training Earth. He is our Sensei.

Age of Apocalypse is one of my fave comic series. So great seeing all the different dynamics in that alternate universe. Apocalypse is such a beast.. Weapon X with his one hand.. Magneto and Rogue having a child etc. Could you please do a video on it Rob.. pleeeeease 🙏

I definitely wish more was done to explore just WHERE Apocalypse came from. Not who raised him, but the family that left him behind. I feel like an epic story is waiting right there to be made regarding just who it was that brought a guy like En Sabah Nur into reality.

I'd like to see Apocalypse ascend to a cosmic power level, Absorb the celestials and evolve into a universal power. Make Thanos his new horseman of War, Annihilus could be Pestilence, Galactus could be Famine, and of course, Death can be Death.

Apocalypse should stop trying to transfer to a human body and look to Asgard or even Eternal

Magneto was the greatest X-Men villain until Apocalypse was created.

Apocalypse has always been my favorite villain. But they have always had shackles on him. There's no reason Apocalypse couldn't just make him self a Celestial light lets say.

He should try Bishop as a host, given he tends to add powers from previous hosts...

I love Apocalypse and the Four Horsemen to me instead of making Joker movies with out Batman or Venom movies with out Spider-Man you could do a entire series of films based on him and his travels across the thousands of years to modern times and being a hero to some and a villain to others I love his origin story as well I think it would make a great movie hopefully they do him justice in the mcu Man

Incorrect, my friend! Apocalypse's original mutant powers when his powers first manifested were: immortality, molecular control & superhuman strength. And while the Imperial Guard definitely are no joke, I can't see them beating Apocalypse. I mean, this is a guy who fought the X-Men, X-Factor, the Avengers AND the Inhumans, at the same time, & they STILL couldn't beat him! It would come down to Apocalypse vs Gladiator

The energy vs reality manipulation can be explained this way... You can manipulate water that flows, but you cant manipulate ice. Ice is a locked up form of flowing water, so while they are the same element, you can only use your power if the ice is melted. Energy and reality might be the same on a theoretical level, but you arent getting fire from wood without converting it first.

Came here after watching a DBX of Apocalypse vs Black Adam. Black Adam won, obviously only because more people voted for him. But Apocalypse would destroy black Adam. I Expected for Black Adam to be voted most. These dudes literally voted Darth Vader in Magneto vs Vader.

Apocalypse would destroy Thanos. Apocalypse would also destroy Galactus. The fact is, the comics and movies always make it so Apocalypse uses only a fraction of his power in order to allow the "good guys" to defeat him. In the X-Men animated series where we saw Apocalypse easily destroy the X-Men, that is what actually would happen if Apocalypse wanted to use that power against any of those opponents. Thanos was defeated by other mutants working together as a team. That means Apocalypse would defeat Thanos all by himself.

I wish Marvel would do a stand-alone for Apocalypse not just telling his origin but fully displaying all his powers and breaking down why he doesn’t use them to the full extent.It could explain why his host body burns out while at the same time add the caveat that he’s been keeping his original body In stasis while he’s experimenting with his powers.The fact that he’s been around so long and we have at the most 50% of knowledge pertaining to him is mind boggling.They could even piggyback of the Power of X storyline by having one lifetime Mactaggart prevented Cable (The Stranger) from confronting En Sabu Nor and thus slowed down the progression of Apocalypse.

Apokalypse is one of my favorite all time marvel villains and I'd like to see him get an upgrade like so many other characters, he can either defeat or at least give a lot of marvel heroes and villains a run for their money , I'd really like to see him unleash and go all out , with his present power and with an upgrade .

If done right, Apocalypse is the perfect villain to be a legitimate and everlasting threat in the MCU. Again, if done right.

Thor kills Thanos, Apocalypse kills ALL the Thors at the same time, so clearly Apoacalypse is stronger than Thanos. If anything the gauntlet is a bullshit device, but even then, Apocalypse will persist, no matter if you snap him away, he will come back.

Hes my favorite character but he needs to be updated because hes outdated. Maybe in the 90s he might have been impressive but in 2019 the oldest mutant can be beat by a kid Franklin Richards or a young adult XMan. Magneto beat him up in the cartoon and in Age of Apocalypse. Hes definitely not Omega level. If Jean Grey or White Queen can beat him without the Pheonix Force than hes not a threat. Hes like Legion - A Jack of All Trades but Master of None. Hes an incomplete character.

I wish I could remember the one shot of wolverine where basically he was a caveman and could only remember a few hundred years at a time. But basically is the god of war/rage in physical form and an immortal. I was a kid but it was one of coolest wolverine story from early 90s

I don't really think Apocalypse can defeat the X-men on his own, the only reason he levels with them is 1- he is a villain and 2- the X-men hold back. Magneto was capable of defeating Apocalypse on his one, i am not saying he is actually more powerful "it is debatable" but there r afew X-men who r more powerful than Magneto. Jean Grey, Storm "Erik admit that Storm was the only X-man he fears", Nate, Cable, Rachel etc

He's far and away my favorite Marvel villain. The animated series whenever he showed up was really the only episodes I needed to watch because he was so cool.
