"Unchained" sure he can leave whenever he wants but to be fair he does go around the world capturing dangerous criminals and taking out terrorists and what not...Maria used to be bad back when he first met her. berserk is in general a really badass anime/manga now that little bit that he is talking about there...that is truly some messed up shiz that happened...using the woman gutz was into as a flag on his pole in a very literal way
