Indeed, Kishimoto straight up said "I don't know how Madara will be defeated. I made him too strong". He even went into writer's block just to think of some legit way of beating him. He couldn't since Madara was obviously too op to be taken down properly, and thus, that's where Black Zetsu proceeded to literally backstab Madara, and in came Kaguya. Kishimoto had to resort to a damn cop out just to "defeat" Madara. How many times has that actually happened in Anime/Manga history?

@@indio4-215 no he didn't, this Is a lie the Naruto community made that is literally contradicted. Kaguya was specifically shown and stated stronger, and then got another power boost in the fight. He totally didn't know how to take care of a villain weaker than Kaguyas weakest form but knows how to get rid of Kaguyas strongest form, makes sense.

@@ozensensei6133 yes, very clearly was and was stated to be. People say he was beating Naruto and Sasuke up but he really wasn't, he got pieced up Everytime. All his limbos are equal to him yet 5 of his limbos couldn't take out Naruto with his weaker shadow clones, nor did they do a lot when attacking Naruto when he saved Sakura. Madara is shit honestly

It's pretty obvious kishimoto was grasping at straws to keep them alive. Now madara being stronger than kaguya that's clearly wrong but he is definitely above Naruto and Sasuke, but again plot armor, they NEEDED the sage of six paths power to even fight the guy. He really didn't. So madara deserves some credit. (Some not all but some).

He WAS the Demon Time! So much so that Kishimoto had to take a writing break to try and figure out a way to off the nigga. *_(yeah, man kinda wrote himself into a corner)_* I personally don't hold it against Kishimoto that much for how things turned out. When you write a villain so much and get so invested on them that you completely forget how you're gonna make the heroes beat them... _like... WHAT THE FUCK can you do at that point?!_ And I might be on the minority, but I don't personally hate Kaguya. I actually like her character and the entire concept behind the Otsutsukis. I think all they really needed was a proper build up, like small hints and stories/legends about her before her introduction, to give some of that hype and speculation. But the way things went down, her appearance came out as too much of a Deux Ex plot device: just a way to get rid of the prievious antagonist. :\ A shame, really. Both Madara and Kaguya deserved better, but hey, Kishimoto is only human! Mistakes happen. And I don't think this one slip up takes away from all the times he's been making a helluva good job writing the story. (personal opinion, at least)

I'm late, but this is a common rumor that is entirely fabricated. There isn't a single reference of proof towards this idea, and it is especially unsupported by the actual series of events, as, while the fight wasn't easy, 6P Naruto and Sasuke were doing pretty fine (considering Naruto's clones were able to entirely hold down Madara's Limbo Clones on their own).

Not to mention, Isshiki was basically crumbling at that point, so maybe his perception was already fucked up at that point. Not so easy to sense a difference in someone's chakra (clone or not) when your entire being is basically becoming dust, I imagine.

@@kaizatengoku3893 Few things to note here. Last Isshiki was in consistent contact with Kawaki, he didn't know any normal techniques. All of his techniques were things Isshiki would be used to, UNTIL he learned how to use Shadow Clones. Isshiki was panicking due to his rapidly shortening lifespan. Sasuke also negated his ability to use the Byakugan not that long before this. Finally, he's probably still recovering from getting whooped, being punch drunk is actually some serious shit.

But here’s the thing… Kabuto thought he “improved “ Madara, but that’s just because he was only guessing how strong Madara was. He brought him back weaker than he was when he was alive. 🤣 So only thing he actually did that was helpful, was make Madara younger than when he died. In terms of clones, people developed clone jutsus to make the clones indistinguishable from the real person. So kage bunshin , divides a person’s chakra equally, so even eye powers like sharingan and byakugan can’t tell which one is real and which is fake.

18:50 Didn't know if this got answered, but that's Madara's original Rinnegan. He awakened them when he was a real old man, but then he had them implanted into Nagato/Pain at some point when he was a little kid. After Naruto defeated Pain, Obito went after the body, and after he killed Konan, he took the eyes back. Obito implanted one in himself, and the other was like in storage till White Zetsu picked it up for Madara.
