You are amazingly articulate and obviously connected with nature. I feel a great sense of gratitude come over me as I imagine what you can do for the Earth when you come into permaculture at such a young age. May you remain rooted in your gifts and unfold them into ever more expressive layers of healing and connection for yourself, your community and the Earth.
Excellent work young lady! Continue to BE THE CHANGE YOU WANT TO SEE IN THE WORLD and nspire folks, both young and old! Kudos to your parents as well, who have raised an intelligent, well spoken, passionate young lady!!
Inspirational and articulate -- thank you. Love the concrete example of how you scientifically observed, pondered, and corrected the chicken-fruit tree problems!
Impossible. Humans are inherently unsustainable. There's no shortage of talks and debates, but never does anything substantial happen. The people who profit from an extractive economy won't allow that anyway. We'd need a violent revulution for that.
After slugging it out as an HVAC/R wacko in GeoExchange for over 35 years (before they even labelled it green) I was pretty much ready to give up and close the doors, especially with the advent of late of the 'Gretanturms'. Our small company has installed only about 5000 tons of GeoExchange heat pumps (would mitigate about 20,000 tons of CO2/yr) coupled with the ground, pond, lakes and ocean to mitigate CO2 and 'redirect' heat (energy) to homes and businesses to be an alternate to 'BURNING' stuff to produce CO2 and carcinogenic emissions. This little bit goes unnoticed for the most part but our family feels it the right thing to do regardless of financial sacrifices. Sierra, it's very inspirational to hear and see you as a dynamic, innovative and real world example of 'being part of the solution'. I love it and now I know why your Mom and Dad are so proud of you........way to go and keep on keeping on.
sustainable to me is regenerative, bringing fourth and multiplying. I do view development is technological, which in most instances has caused more harm than benefits, i don't even like diverting river courses (though we should probably be encouraging Beaver populations to do the work for us). You reminded me how i felt when i came to the realization of the harm at such a young age. Something i have spent decades trying to figure out a way to deal with without fully realizing the strong emotions that have remained with me ever since. An excellent introduction to your life and efforts. I congratulate you in your endeavors and expansion of comprehension. Are you familiar with Mr Joel Salatine, a pioneer in polyfaced farming?
Hey. interessanter Clip! Schön... ;) Hast du schon mal jenes Miracle Hydrogen Rich Water von einem Wasserstoff Generator schon mal getrunken? Dieses Getränk ist wirklich richtig gut! ☘ Es hilft einem echt gesund zu bleiben .. 😊
What is this, a presentation about permaculture? It's nice and she is great but it's nothing new. The chicken example is same old as the invention of permaculture. Hope some teenagers can learn something new from it at least.
