Thank you Bhante for the surmone and brother Billy Tan for producing the youtube recording. I am most grateful to you both. May I thank Billy for asking Bhanthe the questions on our behalf to clarify the meaning of various statements in the surmone. I greatly enjoyed listening Bhanthe, and I miss him, he was my best teacher of Buddhism. Thank you again.
And for the last part of this video, the guy asked about avijja in dasa samyojana (ten fetters), where is the part when bhante Punnaji answered thia question? Or can bro Billy tell us what is Bhante’s explaination of breaking this last part of fetter? How come insentience become a fetter?
Like now you are dreaming while you think you are awake. During Nirodha samapatti you are really awaken and when you go back to sleep you will forget that you have awaken. Like now you are all sleeping. You all are said to be sleeping is because non of you know what actually is NIRODHA SAMAPATTI. That is why the Buddha say only the wise one(awaken one) will know. The awaken one are the one who has experience Nirodha samapatti.
Have bro Billy ever asked Bhante what is wrong with the method taught by the father of Uddaka (Rama)? That method can reach neya sanna na sanna but Why that method can not reach the cessation?
"Nirodha Samapatti " being awaken from their dream of existentence! But how can you know you have non-existent if you are not aware of it? So does knowing continue when all brain activity stop? Does conciousness continue when we are dead?
While keeping 5 precepts for a lay person AKA Sila, calming the mind is the first thing to do. Samatha and Vipassana are the products of state of calmness.
yes, because I'm at this calmness level. I can't say about Samadi and Vipassana at this time. Practically I'm not there yet. Even this calmness alone gives me tremendous experience. I couldn't imagine how people with their samadi level feel.
Bhante Punnji’explanation is really enlightening us Every thing Ne explains perfectly I am fortunate to Herat his explanation my gratitude and thanks to Bhante Punnaji 🙏🙏😀🌺😄🌸
Correct me if I'm mistaken. Bhante has mentioned that jhana means to stand out of the emotional world. In the Arupa Samadhi is a person standing out from the existential world? Is this the reason why Bhante has pointed out that the Arupa Samadhi is not Jhana?
been having issues with the meaning of Piti and sukha. usually I get information referring them as happiness. my question is if they refer to happiness, are they considered as emotional reactions? what did the Buddha meant when he using these words?
+Anarayo Bhikkhu Yes you are right, thanks for pointing out. Unfortunately, unable to make the correction now without reloading the whole video, causing those with the original links to lose the connection. Since this is such a trivial error that does not affect audience learning, I shall leave it for now. Sadhu!
During Nirodha samapatti you will not know anythings as regards to subjective or objectives experiences. Why? In NIRODHA SAMAPATTI you are no more existing in existence. But do not be shock when i say this. There are two parts now we can cognized while we re awaken into this dream of existence. Though you are not exiting in existence during nirodha samapatti but here the after experience part is you will be existing again(back to dreams of existence experience)after that experiences of NIRODHA samapatti Because there are two parts that now can be comprehen. When we re awake to be back in this dreams of existence in that states of samadhi. It is in this state that suddenly we begin to remember that Nirodha samapatti experiences. We can now differenciate the difference between ceesation and stop. NIRODHA SAMAPATTI is stop and ceased and it is in this experience one comes to know it is Attainment.
