The Vancouver Recital Society's Founder & Artistic Director, Leila Getz, speaks to Peter Moore, solo trombonist and Principal Trombone of the London Symphony Orchestra. Peter is an astonishing young artist who gained international attention at the age of 12 when he became the youngest ever winner of the BBC Young Musician competition. Leila and Peter discuss how he got his start on the trombone, Peter's passion for performing as a trombone soloist, and his work with the LSO. Peter was originally scheduled to perform as part of the VRS's 2020/21 Season, which was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and VRS is very much hoping to invite him back to Vancouver sometime in the not too distant future.
