glad iv found your channel! i just recently got a used 925 and am over the dam moon with it! The softness of the case really got my attention. it feels almost organic. its weird.
I am a black on black on black guy. I went with the ceramic. They had it in stock, so it's what I took. Both great pieces, but I do prefer the ceramic. PVD bracelet would be a great add on, but having two straps is enough honestly.
Had many, many luxury watches and sold most of them. The 925 is one of only a couple of keepers, because it's silver. I look forward to it growing old and looking old with me.
The 925 is just gorgeous. But there’s something so cool about the dial on the ceramic. Too bad the whole thing isn’t ceramic but it’s still better looking than the Omega Dark Side of the Moon.
Yeah great choice indeed. I think this video of watchidiot is pretty good and he definitely should share the progress as well, very worthfull information. GO is stunning. I’ve been looking at a lot of them and still can’t decide which is best, I think those watches will never bore you
I want both as well as the Pelagos but cant make up my mind which one to go for. The tarnish is a slight issue with the 925 and the fact that I cant find a ceramic one is a bit of a problem.
The 925 tarnish story is just that, a myth and a story. Happens very rarly and is easy to clean up. I have had mine from the get go at the end of May and never had any tarnishing at all. Great watch and very much better than this other watch he is talking about. Better than the other BB58s too.
My choice is… silver is absolutely stunning bb, about ceramic I was extremely surprised that’s really cool but tried explain why is not my watch on my Instagram page 😅
I bought the bb58 harrods edition and I love it , I really really like the 925 , I’m just a bit concerned about the Patina . I will just sit on it for a while to see what decision tomorrow brings .(bet I end up buying it) ☺️
I like them both. Silver one is solid silver but only cosc certified movement also it will be easier to take care of. Ceramic one is not full ceramic :( but has à double certified movement cosc and metas. It may be harder to take care of this soecific movement. Regarding it's value it seems they keep it well. A silver bracelet on the silver one would be great or satin Steel. Before seeing comments and vidéo BB Black was winning now it's a draw.
Neither. Skip Tudor. My experience buying a BB 925 was horrendous. The first 6 months of ownership, my watch was stuck at Tudor/Rolex Service Center in Dallas TX, due to a faulty movement. Then when I finally got it back, the bezel was damaged. Total joke. I’m done with Tudor.
Dude! Where are you? I hope you are well, just pre-occupied with some brilliant project. Was at the AD and saw the 925. What a watch! I am skeptical over claims of tarnish. But I’m skeptical about just about everything on RU-vid. Hope to hear from you soon! Your opinions are valued.
Hi mate, sorry for my late reply! Been quite busy directly after Watches & Wonders so it was hard to make extra time for new reviews. They actually do take a lot of time to make 😅 Anyway, more coming soon :D
CORRECTION: the ceramic still has pvd coating on a steel case! And no lume pib (which is just silly for a "diver"). Equally it may be argued that the material in the 925 only has drawbacks and the movement is plain-jane... Still I got me a 925 just because ^^
