Beyond Words: The Life and Work of Jose Limon: Ann Vachon, Malachi Roth, and Deborah Jowitt (1999) 

Deborah Jowitt, dance critic for The Village Voice, moderates a conversation with producer Ann Vachon and director Malachi Roth following a screening of their film, Beyond Words: The Life of Jose Limón. Carla Maxwell, Artistic Director of the Limón Dance Company, also participates in the discussion. This event is part of a series showcasing new films about dance. Beyond Words, officially released as Limón: A Life Beyond Words in 2001, is a documentary about the life of renowned Mexican dancer and choreographer, Jose Limón. At the time of this screening, the film was still incomplete, and audience members were asked to fill out a questionnaire to share their thoughts with the filmmakers. The discussion is followed with questions from the audience.
