Typically, not doing anything is what defines complicity… Biden and Kamala have not ended the military supplies to Israel. They have not taken any steps to end the genocide.

Well, I guess they'd expect a resignation in protest, but they're also the sort of people who normally cheer on those resignations like it wouldn't be better to have opposing voices in those positions until somebody is forced to fire them publicly. Somehow not realizing it's just egotists patting themselves on the back over a pointless gesture while being more than happy to open the door for the yes man that will replace them. Forcing them to fire you might cause a bigger hit to your career but it makes it less a "disagreement on policy" and more an actual protest. Meanwhile, a VP has literally no executive power aside from what POTUS delegates, only ceremonial roles, the only inherent power being the tie-breaking vote in the Senate. A pointless resignation would be the only thing she could do aside from applying pressure from within. She was the first person in the administration to push for a ceasefire, but because that wasn't enough to stop anything, she's now somehow complicit. Like I don't think the VP can really even contradict the POTUS without getting tossed out, anyway. It's just more force the vote brainrot. Like smugly saying "You literally do not have the ability to do something but that shouldn't stop you from doing it." 🥴
